Lake Palace Udaipur is exceptional. Best service, relaxing place, wonderful building. 

Right in the middle of lake with beautifully decorated rooms with marble. Big lavish bathroom with huge tub and shower. We were upgraded to historical heritage suit with attractive lake facing royal sitting arrangement.common areas were befitting to a palace and the staff was highly trained. At night lobby level verandah as well as terraces just gave extraordinary view of the lake and building of the city.food was just superb.only shortcoming was that the AC was not adjusted enough for low temperature and it is a shame for such beautiful high cost hotel that we were advised to keep the fan on.

Unbelievable place and fantastic service!

I stayed at this hotel in May 2025. This hotel was introduced in a book I bought 10 years ago, and my dream of staying there someday came true. We arrived at the hotel's private dock at 8am by car from the airport, and were thinking of just leaving our luggage there, but they let us check in without a single complaint. When we arrived at the hotel by boat, flowers fell from above, giving us a very extraordinary feeling. They even upgraded our room. Disha, who was in charge of our arrival, was very polite and cheerful, even though we arrived suddenly. (Each customer was assigned a representative to guide us around the hotel, take photos, and make reservations.) I was quite tired from the early morning flight, so I was able to take a break and enjoy my stay afterwards thanks to being able to check in early. The building was stately and fun to explore, and the view overlooking the City Palace across the lake was amazing. For dinner, we chose an Indian restaurant, and they made curry for us that wasn't on the menu! The price was reasonable for the hotel's grade, about 10,000 yen for two people. When we checked in, we were asked if we had any dislikes or allergies, and this was also communicated to the restaurant, which showed great hospitality. When we returned after dinner, our bed had been neatly made, and the baked goods in the room had been replaced with new ones. The shower water pressure and temperature were also perfect. It was quiet at night, so we were able to sleep soundly, and at the breakfast venue we were able to enjoy the palace hotel atmosphere. The hotel has taken various measures, but there are many pigeons living there, so people who don't like birds should be careful. However, the hospitality and service of the staff, the view, the extraordinary feeling of being in a palace hotel, the food, and everything else was wonderful, so this is a hotel that you should stay at least once in your life.

I was finally able to stay at a hotel that I had dreamed of for many years. The hotel was even more wonderful than I expected. The historic building is well-maintained, everything is well-maintained, everything is beautiful, and the hospitality was wonderful, making it a memorable trip.
