Not bad really. We are three. The hotel gave use two rooms. One room one bed but the room two big beds. Breakfast was not luxury but not bad. There were lots of mist during my stay in hotel. So I had no idea about scenery. Anyway totally it is good against price.

Very friendly and English speaking receptionist. He helped us book a taxi and tickets for Rong May Glass Bridge online. Would recommend if u are traveling to Sapa on Sapa Express bus as the drop off point is only a minute walk away from the hotel.

The hotel had a great location and was one of the best hotels in the area and close to the lake.

Location is ok. The breakfast menu is varied but the taste is ordinary. The towels had lots of black stains like used towels used to use as doormats

Convenient location near Truc Lam Zen monastery and Sapa lake shore. I don't know if it's because of the dew or because the washing machine didn't have time to dry, but it smells a bit damp. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic

We stayed in this hotel as part of a 3 day tour of Sapa. The tour was great but the hotel we stayed in was terrible. It was a great shame as the sister hotel who seemed to organise the tour had great staff, always helpful and friendly and the tour staff were excellent. However, in the Freesia where we stayed our room had black mould under the window, right across the wall. The room was dated and felt damp and it was dirty and had a musty smell. The sheets and towels were grey and felt cold and damp. I wish we'd complained about it whilst there but we arrived late on our first day so we rushed to dinner and were really tired after a long day of travel so didn't realise how bad the room was until almost too late as we had to be up early for the next activity. Cleaning was very poor. There were strange marks around the sink and the shower leaked over the bathroom floor although, on the plus side, the shower was at least hot. I really felt uncomfortable sleeping or being in the room. We kept everything in bags to keep clothes and items fresh. On our first night there was some kind of gala dinner on. This involved men shouting very loudly down a microphone. It was far too loud and hurt your ears. There was very loud karaoke and party games which involved people running around the restaurant and screaming whilst other dinners tried to eat their dinners. It was all very odd and unpleasant. We could still hear the noise in our room when we went upstairs even though it was supposed to be a quiet area. So much for a quiet zone. On the second night we had people running down the corridor and talking and laughing loudly. The hotel and lift had a strange smell. The food was awful. For dinner they gave you large portions and the food was hot but I have to say it lacked in quality, it mainly consisted of a large bowl of rice, a plate of veg and a plate of meat with little taste. Very poor for vegetarians. I ate practically the same thing at both dinners. On the first night. I got served a large plate of squid and rice. The people on the same table got spring rolls and a tofu dish as well as their meat dishes. I had to ask if I could have a few pieces of their tofu as I couldn't eat the squid it was too rubbery. Another guest got a fish dish and a meat dish. I'm not sure why there were differences in what we were served. I had said I ate no meat but fish and vegetarian food. So I'm not sure why I only got squid. Breakfast was equally poor. Tiny glasses for very weak fruit juice. The omelette was swimming in grease and the vegetables uncooked. Lots of dishes contained meat and weren't really suitable for Western tourists. Staff never seemed very friendly or understanding of customer service. In fact this is an area that they really need to improve on. We were hardly spoken to and it seemed staff had no love for the hotel or desire to do a good job. In other hotels we were greeted by staff and asked how things are. This is a leadership issue and the hotel ne

(Stay in from April 12, 2024 to April 13, 2024) During vacation at Sapa I stayed at Freesia Hotel Sapa. When I searched the hotel on search engine, I found out the hotel has tons of negative reviews specifically about the room. Unexpectedly, it way worse than I thought initially. When I entered the room, damp smell can be smelled by my nose. The smell was very noticeable at every side. Looks like the room had not occupied for certain period of time. The bed cover, pillow, and the blanket had damp smell. When my father gonna to sleep, suddenly the bed collapsed. When my father look more further, it was discovered that the bed wasn't attached with the backrest. The frames also weren't installed properly. My father then call the front office asked help to repair the broken bed. Two woman later came to my room, only to be found they were literally TEEN. Did the hotel employed UNDERAGED LABOR? Despite being underage and had zero understanding on English language, they were really helpful. Later on, I discovered the TV remote was broken. When I pack up the suitcase, loud sound possibly from nearby club or restaurant can be heard clearly at my room. Fortunately, these sound completely gone during late night. There are plenty of electrical sockets, which might be poorly maintained. Two electrical sockets had black spot on the surface, indicating there was (almost) minor burn incident. That's very dangerous for guest. For bedroom, I gave score 2 out of 10. The bathroom is much better than the bedroom. All things were work properly. The only cons was the awkward position of the sink. For bathroom, I gave score 9 of 10. Speaking about the breakfast, the staffs on the restaurant were highly discipline in regard of schedule. Guests cannot enter the restaurant until 6.30 AM. Menu wise, the taste was very average. I gave score 7 out of 10. Accessibility to the hotel was quite difficult. The hotel was situated at higher area than the main road. It need go to uphill to reach the hotel. Not that help the road access was somewhat steep.

The hotel is pretty old and needs some up keep… the room smells a bit like mold,.. the layout of the bathroom is bizarre and I think because of that, mold grows. There was a lipstick stain on one of the glasses in there. The sheets had an odd smell as well. We opened the window to let air in but of course outside smells too but our floor was 5th floor which helped. There’s a bar next door so it was hard to sleep the couple of nights we were there. They should get rid of that bar if people want to sleep at the hotel. The dinner was alright, but we ended up having dinner on our own the next night even though it was included in our reservation I made through my main hotel in Hanoi. The breakfast buffet is decent. We liked the pho and then these donuts they had not the ones with the bean inside, a different type. Not sure what it’s called but they’re small puffy rectangles so good. Only two staff spoke decent English especially this one girl with short hair. She was relatively helpful. Our tours were confusing but they set up a driver for us to go to Moana. It wasn’t my choice to stay here it was part of the tour package I booked with my hotel in Hanoi. I recommend staying at a 5 star hotel if this place is considered a 4 star hotel. Somewhere cleaner. We had a small silver tail bug on our bed as well…

Not even a two-star hotel. It is nothing like what you see in the pictures on the *********** page, for example. The entire hotel requires maintenance urgently. Strong smell in the room, ripped wallpapers, stained towels and dirty walls. Disappointment.

The hotel was perched on a little slope from the main traffic. This offered better city views and of the mountains beyond. Hotel has grand reception/lobby The bedroom though, is due for some deep cleaning and maintenance. Had some issues with the hot shower and AC. Parts of the room are dusty. Bedroom slippers also look dirty and dusty. The hotel seemed a little short-handed with English speaking staff so communication can be a little challenging at times. They do however make an effort to help. The restaurant is well staffed and breakfast selection is quite good.

Absolutely loved this hotel in Sapa - best hotel we stayed in during our visit to Vietnam! The bed was soft and there was a real shower separate from the toilet and sink. The room was large with a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was nice and the restaurant served lunch and dinner as well with good food. They also had an area for massages which were very good. The hotel is situated up a short steep hill, but at the bottom of the little hill you can catch a ride on the open air shuttles to wherever you want to go. We would definitely stay here again.

Eddie, one of the managers, is very helpful and was understanding when we cut our trip short - the recent typhoon made the weather pretty unpleasant. The photos don’t quite reflect the hotel, but it’s an excellent option for families careful with their expenses. The top corner room, I think it was 517?, was spacious (not something we’ve had much of in Vietnam). The room had super views out over the town.
