Best Tromsdalen Hotels

"I didn’t read my email. They sent an email after 8pm informing us our key details as we check in at 11:15pm. Everything is so good, key pick up, drive to room and park beside our cabin. U can view stars from the room ceiling window. There’s a balcony with table and chairs, view of snowy mountains, damn beautiful. We drove out at night away 20mins from cabin and found our fist northern lights at 1:20am super excited!!! This lodge is fantastic we will back to stay if we come back to Tromso."

"El hotel está bastante alejado del centro de Tromsø. La parada de autobús para ir al aeropuerto está a 10 min. Parece poco pero si está nevando y llevas mucho equipaje hay que ir con tiempo porque las cuestas tienen hielo. Cuando entras, es una maravilla. Han renovado las zonas comunes y es súper bonito. Pero al entrar en nuestra habitación doble.... No estaba renovada. Es la habitación más pequeña en la que hemos estado en 8 días por la zona. La puerta no está en buenas condiciones. El baño parece de ”un hospital”. Para nuestro gusto la cama y las almohadas son incómodas. Las paredes de la habitación tampoco están en buen estado. Cuando fuimos a desayunar parecía otro hotel. La cafetería con vistas panorámica era preciosa. Y el desayuno tipo buffet estaba muy rico. Nos choca bastante la inmensa diferencia que hay entre las zonas comunes y la habitación."

"The room has a living room that is quite big, the living room has a sofa bed, the dining room kitchen is connected, and the kitchen has a dishwasher, which is quite good. There is a supermarket seven or eight minutes walk away. It is very convenient to buy things and cook them by yourself. The only downside is that if the living room wants to sleep, the curtain is not wide enough to block the lights outside, and it is a bit bright at night."

"The most recommended place in Tromso! The kitchen utensils are extremely complete! I stayed there for many days and it was very comfortable, as if I was at home. There are large supermarkets downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping. It's walking distance everywhere, five minutes' walk to the boat ride and ten minutes to the departure point for various activities. There are shops wherever you go downstairs. Less than five minutes away from the bus station ~ very convenient to the airport"

"I had a studio corner room.  snug as a bug in a rug. very clean hotel.  liked that I could decide when to have room cleaned. staff always helpful. loved the coffee in the lobby, especially early in the morning. recommend this hotel. very well run."

"Our best stay for the trip. The room is very big, clean and fully equipped. Good location, walking distance to the ferry terminal and 15 mins by bus to the airport. The bus stop is just the next street of the apartment. Shopping, groceries, eateries are all nearby. Lucky to see the northern light on the first night outside our apartment. Strongly recommend all to stay when you are in Tromso."

"Clean and hygienic, good service attitude, enthusiastic to call for us, show the way, introduce the attractions. You can store your luggage after check-out, and there is coffee, hot water and small cookies in the lobby for free."

"I would rate this budget hotel 2/5. The location is its main advantage, conveniently situated close to key attractions and transportation. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The service was poor, I was charged twice for my stay, and the refund process takes time. Luckily trip.com helped me to liase, and I received reply from hotel very soon. I can see hair in sink and stain on pillow case when i juat entered the room. For a budget hotel, the price was extremely high and did not match the quality of service or facilities provided. The rooms were basic and lacked amenities, making it feel overpriced and not worth the cost. While the location is excellent, the subpar service and lack of value for money make it hard to recommend this hotel. There are likely better options in the same area at a more reasonable price."

"An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso."

"Great hotel for our short stay. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, with lots of options. Bacon, egg (fried,scrambled or boiled) beans, toast and brown sauce was my choice. But there was a good choice of pastries and breads, yogurts and cream cheeses, meats etc etc. The location was ideal on the main street, a short walk from the bus station where lots of the tours depart from."
