Totsugawa Onsen Seikyo No Yado Sansui Reviews

Excellent service, food and onsen.

The front desk staff were polite and always available. The open-air onsen overlooks the small rapid in front of the hotel. The best moon viewing spot is experienced when the moon rises over the mountaintop. Outstanding meals with Japanese subtleness, fresh varieties, and a little bit of fusion. When I return to Totsukawa Mura, I will certainly stay here again.

1. Japanese-style rooms are spacious and elegant. The mattress is thick enough so it doesn't feel like sleeping on the floor. The quilt is also very soft and comfortable. 2. There are mountains and rivers outside the window, and the scenery is pleasant. This river should be the Totsu River, but there are actually hot springs underneath. 3. Both dinner and breakfast were rich and delicious. The grandpa also explained each dish to us. 4. We went there at the end of December and it was very cold in the mountains. Although it looks like a Japanese-style window made of paper, the room is very warm. 5. There is an outdoor bath, so beautiful. You must take a bath outdoors~

After visiting Tamaki Shrine, which is said to be a place you can only visit if you're invited, we checked in at exactly 3pm. Although the hotel was fully booked on the day of our stay, the service was stress-free. We took our time in the open-air bath, which was filled with natural hot spring water, and ate local cuisine made with local ingredients. We were able to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious.

The food was satisfying and good.

It was a successful first experience, the staff was pleasant and at the service of customers, the location is away from the city which allows you to fall asleep with the sound of the river and the sounds of birds, the outdoor Onsens were at a good temperature to relax after a long hike, I recommend.
