Title: Perfect Stay in the Heart of Amsterdam! We had an incredible stay at the Jan Luyken Amsterdam Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—tucked away in a charming neighborhood, yet just steps from the city’s shopping and museums. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. We also loved the thoughtful touch of complimentary drinks and snacks available throughout the day—such a wonderful perk! This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way, and we will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

Location is good. Liked that they had drinks and snacks provided during the day. However, bath towels were not changed daily and the room was slightly too dark. It would have been great if the cast function of the TV worked.

Location was superb, a 5-10mins walk from the center but it's in a quieter location and neighborhood felt secure. Rooms were well maintained and clean, but a little smaller than expected. Staff were friendly and helpful

Location: I had a day in transit in the Netherlands and wanted to visit the Van Gogh Museum, so I chose to stay here. Get off at the Museum Station on Bus No. 397 at the airport, which is a half-hour journey. On one side of the hotel is the museum area, where the Van Gogh, National Museum, and Municipal Museum are all very close, and on the other side is the famous shopping street, where there are few people and a good environment~ Facilities: You can take the drinks and wine at the front desk and drink them as you like. The hotel has a reading room, a gym, and a small courtyard, which is very warm. There are not many breakfast options, but they are delicious ⚠️The hotel does not have a transfer port for borrowing, so remember to bring your own~

The hotel is in a great location, with the Museum Square in front and a luxury street behind. The small room I booked was just right for two people, the bed was very comfortable, and the environment was very quiet. I especially liked the overnight oats and smoked salmon for breakfast, and the bread was delicious. The hotel has a reading lounge and a gym, and drinks and wine are available at the front desk. I stayed for four nights and was quite satisfied. I will choose this hotel again in the future!

I will choose this hotel again next time! Very cozy! The bed is super comfortable! Very close to the museum. There is a bar, a small living room and a gym at the check-in place. The breakfast area is also clean and warm. There are few dishes but the quality is good! The small garden is also cute. The room is large and comfortable. We were upgraded. (Some rooms require a few steps and the lighting is dim) It's really great!

The location is very good, just a two-minute walk from the Van Gogh Museum. This area is much quieter than the central train station. It is next to the famous brand street and convenient for shopping. You can drink as much as you want at the hotel reception, which is quite good in the Netherlands where Coke costs several euros. The breakfast is simple, but the fruit and bread are delicious. I booked a small room of 14 square meters at first, which was very small and I couldn't even open my luggage. Later, I communicated with the hotel to change to a larger room and paid the difference.

The location of the hotel is great, quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, with convenient transportation and excellent service. I will stay here again next time I come.

Very bad hotel experience 😫😫! ! Strongly do not recommend everyone to live in this hotel! Let me explain as follows. We booked to stay in the hotel twice on the 19th and 27th. The first time we stayed at the hotel, the experience was acceptable. The luxury room type has a lot of space, with a sense of design, and the staff is very friendly. However, the sanitation situation is not good, and we found snack packaging bags on the ground in the room, but we think the problem is not big, we can clean it up by ourselves. Another small problem is that even though we hung the do not disturb sign on the door handle, the cleaning staff broke into our room every morning😵‍💫. Even if it is locked, it will be pushed open by force. . . The second time we booked a superior room type, this stay brought us a very bad hotel experience. First of all, the hygiene level is very poor. When entering the room, there is already a heavy musty smell, the window sill is covered with dust, and the toilet still has the paper towels used by the previous guest😫 and the towels in the bathroom are also stained and smell strange🤮🤮 The hotel will only provide two mouthwash cups, and the rest will not provide anything. Secondly, in terms of equipment, the lock of the room cannot be locked. You can enter the room without a key card, so we asked to change the room. The biggest problem is that the hotel staff are not helpful at all. The service attitude of the staff will only make people feel helpless and angry. When we explained our situation to the front desk, the front desk said that they would not transfer rooms for us and shirk responsibility For us, it means that the lock is not broken, and the room is no problem, if we don't like it, we can check out. And during the process, the employee took us to the room and insulted us for half an hour. . . Slandering that we want to switch to a deluxe room type, but in fact we just want to change to a cleaner room. In the end, after a lot of hard work, the hotel staff finally agreed to transfer us to a room of the same room type on another floor. When we entered the room, we found that the so-called same room type was quite different. We even suspected that the wine room initially gave us a lower room type😵‍💫 . Summarize! If you want to have a pleasant stay experience or don't want to feel discriminated against, don't stay in this hotel!
