The Ravenswood B&B Reviews

1st of all for 2 adults for 2 nights sunday to Tuesday september we got the exceptional rate of £130. This did not include breakfast but upon check in we added the option of breakfast on for £10pp per night. I cannot convey how pleased we was with our stay here, it was exceptional. The Ravenwood is around a 4minute walk from the Harbour that leads to easy access of what you want to do during your stay. We was greeted by Raj one of the owners upon arrival with a plesant greeting. One in the bed and breakfast you instantly know the pride, high spec and cleanliness within the building itself. *and outside. Checkin was quick and informative with a breakfast card of choices to be returned by 10pm for the next morning. We both had the full english and it was hot, fresh and delicous. And as a little extra Raj served us yoghurt, museli and homemade berry coolie. *scrumptious. There was also fresh juices, cereals, toast and fruits to help yourself too. Theres around 10 rooms with ensuites and even though the rooms was all taken we never heard anyone at all. The rooms are over 3 floors and we was in room 7. It was spacious, exceptionaly clean, comfortable with a view that was beautiful. Tea, coffee and bottled water was also in the room along with a kettle, hairdryer, toiletries, many white towels and a seating area with a tv. You can see that Raj works hard to give the best proper service for all that stay are happy and satisfied as we was, and we will definetly returning.

Just back from a wonderful stay at this fabulous b&b. Room 4 was large with a big comfortable bed and very clean, it overlooked the gardens opposite which were beautiful. The rooms are serviced every day but towels only changed every 3 days, I understand in regards to the planet etc but when having 2 showers a day, you cant get the towels to dry inside the bathroom, if you want them changed more it states there is a charge for this service. The hotel is very clean and kept immaculate throughout. Unable to comment on breakfast as only stayed room only. The hosts are wonderful and very accommodating to your every need. The b& b is ideally situated for everything. I highly recommend it to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you for a ward stay.

Manju and Raj were excellent hosts.. we enjoyed our stay And hope to visit again.. Hotel us kept in superb condition And we were impressed with the breakfast choice .. the en suite is a bit small for larger guests .. but we were OK. A short walk to the harbour and bus stop nearby for paigton and babbacombe Parking 100 yds up the side road

We booked this room at short notice . Although the room was small there was everything we needed for our stay . Every where was spotlessly clean . Breakfast was amazing freshly cooked and nothing was too much trouble for the owners . We rate this B&B five stars and will return without any hesitation. Thank you from Brian and Sheryl

We stayed in the king size suite (room 4) for 3 nights and had a very enjoyable stay. The hosts, Manju and Raj, were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were able to park for free at the back of the property, and due to the excellent location were able to walk everywhere during our stay (Torquay marina is just 5 minutes walk down the road). We also walked to nearby Babbacombe, which only took us 30 minutes as we walked the road way (along Babbacombe Rd) as opposed to the coastal path this time (due to poor weather during our trip). We did not have the breakfast during our stay so cannot comment on that aspect.

What a lovely place to stay, We stayed here for the weekend, with 2 other couples, the rooms were very cute and were spotlessly clean, the breakfast was just right, a choice of yoghurt, pastries and cereal, including a full english, The owners were just lovely, all in all a perfect stay, will definitely be back 😆

Had a very excellent stay, the accommodation was extremely good nothing to much trouble for the Hosts. Situated very close to all amenities within walking distance. Breakfast was excellent well cooked and presented. Would definitely recommend and will be using again in the future.

We have just had 3 nights at this lovely B&B Very freindly and helpful host Spotlessly Clean Good size bedroom with shower.toilet. tv .coffee. tea. Very nice breakfast Free parking spot outside back door Really could not be faulted. The host even gave us a card and a bottle of wine for our anniversary

Stayed for two nights ,manju and raj were awesome hosts,so pleasant and helpful in everything,this is probably the best b and b I have ever stayed at,perfect location and spotless throughout, the breakfast was also superb,I will defo be returning, and have no hesitation in highly recommending this

Best b and b round Torquay. Me and my partner could not be happier where we stayed. Amazing breakfast, amazing staff which were very welcoming and we are so happy we booked here this year and have booked for next year! I wish we could score a 10!! Brilliant. They went the extra mile just to drop me and my other half to the train station to go home which was very appreciated and we are so grateful for everything they have done for us! Thank you! Another fantastic stay at the wonderful Ravenswood. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone, it's spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, convenient to the harbour and attractions. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Lovely people, lovely hotel

The Ravenswood Hotel is in a great location close to the harbour and shops. The room we had booked was the cheap economy room which is well decorated and clean, however the room was very compact. The en-suite was very small and compact. It was very difficult to use the toilet as we kept knocking our knees on the wall! There is no sink to wash your hands in the toilet so you had to come back out into the bedroom and wash your hands which I felt was very unhygienic. However the service was amazing. There is very little parking by the hotel but more parking available 300yrds away. The parking is free with the permit given. The noise of the seagulls through the night made it very difficult to sleep.

Owners very friendly and welcoming, (even just small simple things as carrying your suitcase to room appreciated), free car parking, room was on small side but very clean actually spotless, fine for myself and hubby as we don’t spend time in room, all you need is a bed and bathroom, tea and coffee facilities in room as well as tv, close to town centre , would definitely recommend and will definitely be going back soon x

The B and B is spotless and I mean spotless. The breakfast had everything - nothing was too much trouble for the owners they were so lovely. On the booking form my son had put down the special occasion and when we got into our room we had card, balloons etc all provided by the owners. What a lovely surprise. We had car parking and even though our room was smallish it was lovely and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay
