Best Western Plus Hotels in Toronto

10 minutes waiting for the phone to be answered to order airport shuttle ( although call made by another shuttle driver, so he was helpful!) Long wait, unmarked shuttle bus, no help with loading suitcases. Check in undertaken whilst receptionist on the phone, didn’t complete check in, started assisting other guests, demanded a credit card with no explanation why I had an ‘outstanding balance’ ( as I had prepaid in full- informed once I called that it was a tax: this could have been easily explained at the time!) Insanely ‘fat’ pillows! I had to try sleeping without as they were so painful on my neck and back. Room good, but truly unpleasant ‘welcome’ to the hotel!

The breakfast is too simple, with few varieties. The room is very clean and tidy. I washed a few pieces of clothes, but they were not delivered in time. The quilt is too thin, and it feels a bit cold at night. The air conditioner cannot adjust the temperature.

We had a great time. There were a few little details that could use improvement, though. It took a little while to figure out that to drain the jacuzzi we had to physically take out the drain cover because it wasn't connected to that stick-thing on top of the faucet. The room was a bit dark, with the entrance lamp not working, and there being no pot lights and only lamps, one of which having 2 light bulbs with different shades of light. A few bottles of water would've been nice, too. Even though it is supposed to be smoke-free, the hallway smelled a bit like smoke. But overall very worth-it for the price.
