It’s just a 4-5mins walk from Suidobashi station. It is very accessible. Very close to Tokyo Dome. I am pleased with the room and amenities are better than what I have expected. Cleanliness is good! Love it when there’s washing machine and dryer in our room. Overall it’s a very pleasant stay. Nothing to complain about. I would love to try Tokyu Stay in other area. Explored the area and chanced upon a nice place selling yummy fried chicken.

We had a great stay at Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro! The location is excellent—just about a minute’s walk from a nearby train exit at Ikebukuro Station, making it super convenient for getting around.
The hotel offers great amenities, including free newspapers, tumblers, coffee, ice, water, and toiletries. The room is more spacious than the typical Tokyo hotel rooms. A standout feature is the in-room washing machine, which adds a lot of convenience. The bed was big and very comfortable, and the TV supports Netflix and other streaming apps.
Service was good throughout our stay, and overall, we had a really comfortable experience. We’ll definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Located in business district, not much of a nightlife nearby. Good for travelers like us (Family) who prefers quiet and peace at night. 24hrs food option only Nakau and Yamazaki Daily convenience store. Most food options nearby opens at 10/11am and closes around 9/10pm due to business area.
There are parking lots but not sure why Hotel does not allow guest to park on site. Would be good if hotel can consider allowing parking for guest (chargeable or not up to them) at least have an option.
Parking is a nightmare around this area, we had 2 rental cars on the first night and had to wake up early and drive out of carpark by 6am to return the car at 8am to avoid charges of JPY440/15mins block = JPY1,760 per hour x 2 cars x 2hrs = JPY 7,040 !!
Yamanote line (Takanawa Gateway) is 5mins walk while Sengakuji station runs right below the hotel. Good thing exit of Sengakuji station nearest to hotel has lift so your luggage is not bothersome. Train to Haneda airport is also within Sengakuji station. Very convenient.
Only simple housekeeping (no bedsheet changing). This might be bothersome to some but it's fine for us. We broke up our booking so we changed room in the middle of the scheduled stay period.
In all, will return to this hotel again for it's location.

The hotel is quite good, but don't expect much regarding cleanliness, it's not very dirty, but it's not clean by general standards
The room is as expected, small typical of hotels in Japan, if you bring a large suitcase, it will be a challenge to open it because space is very limited
the staff can speak English, just not fluently, so don't expect to ask for various things, because of language limitations

I stayed in a double bed room with small kitchen. Compliemtary drinks of coffee are free to provide every day. The room is quite spacious, but the small kitchen equipment is just barely adequate. Just plates, forks, spoon, small pot, a knife to cut food. No bowls and frying pan. I requested an extra pillow but not provided. It's ok if no bottle water is provided, but the boiling kettle is too small (just 0.6L) to boil water for drinking. Washing machine for washing and drying is a credit! Hair dryer is excellent!
The hotel had the bare minimum of services. However, the environment was better than other hotels with similar services. The unit bath was spacious. Usually, the bathtub, sink, and toilet are all packed together, but the bathtub is about 1m away (the width of four pairs of slippers) from the door, and the toilet and sink were easy to use. There was a mini kitchen, so you could use water in the room even if someone was in the bathroom, and it was nice that there was a washer/dryer so you could take a few clothes with you. The hotel was right next to the station and the bus stop was right in front of it, and there were convenience stores, pharmacies, and 100-yen shops nearby. There was a small supermarket in the basement of the station, with a wider selection of bento, bread, side dishes, fruit, and more than the convenience stores. It was open from 7am, so you could buy breakfast there, and if you needed anything during your trip, you could buy anything around the hotel. It was just over 10 minutes from Shibuya, and the environment was great.

No daily cleaning of rooms though towel change and clearing rubbish if needed. Overall good stay, good size and convenient with washing machine in the room. Stayed in twin room. Walking distance to main Shibuya crossing area. No fitness and onsen which is a pity.
Loved this hotel & location. Breakfast is average at best (mostly cold) although a good selection & more convenient than having to go out. Bed is HARD - but that's Japan.. Location was perfect for train, restaurants and entertainment. Staff not overly helpful, but pleasant & welcoming.

The room is clean but smaller than what I expected as I booked a Residential double room. The washing machine is a big help the reason being I booked this hotel. Not walkable to Shinjuko as it's located a bit out of the city but easy access to the train line. WARNING!!! They have pay per view PORN movies in the room and it's disappointing (unless you want to watch porn of course), TV is old school. DON'T book breakfast packages, they have no restaurant unless you are happy to eat frozen salmon and cook your own rice or microwave frozen bread.

Great
JJoyceHotel was okay. It was near the yutenji train station. We stayed for a night to get to the overland Japan office the next day. Happy with the free ice chocolate and coffee at the lobby with the bookmarks too. Room was ok as we were gigeh the queen sized bed to share for the four of us.

EEnji EnkatsuComfortable Stay with Excellent Amenities
I stayed for two nights and absolutely loved this hotel. The room size was perfect—not too small or large, but just enough for a comfortable stay. My room came with a balcony, which was a lovely touch.
What impressed me the most were the amenities, which were the most complete I encountered during my trip to Japan. The room included a microwave, refrigerator, and even a washing machine. The shower amenities were also very comprehensive, and you can refill them for free in the lobby. Additionally, the lobby offers a coffee machine where you can enjoy free coffee and hot chocolate, which was a delightful perk.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They allowed me to store my luggage before check-in and even moved it to my room after check-in time.
The location is another highlight—close to both a station and a bus stop, yet calm and quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable stay.

TTeamEadieThe location is phenomenal. Having a washer & dryer + hanging space for clothes that cannot be tumble dried. Rooms are small, but nothing we’d ever complain about; it’s Tokyo! We came from a King bed at home to a semi-double and were cosy but fine for sleeping. We had 2x 150cm + carryon duffle / back pack and we made it work. Go into any Tokyo place knowing it’ll be tighter than you’re used to and it’ll be fine.
We paid for breakfast, but it was a bit average. Lots of options but they didn’t compare to nearby food places, which are EVERYWHERE. you’re close to shopping, food, rail and subway stations.
Staff are fantastic. They helped us send our luggage ahead to Kyoto and it was a really smooth process. Every question we had, staff were helpful and we used translators with staff who didn’t know English.

EEndAreElleGreat location! very near to a train station and a bus stop!
The room was very small for a family of 3 with 3 luggage, so we had to upgrade to a bigger one (payable).
I'm happy they got the 2in1 washer dryer, which they also provided the detergent.
a little downside is they don't do complete housekeeping every day.
they only change trash bin and towels upon request and full housekeeping once a week.
everything is clean. also, convenient.
I'm very pleased and would definitely come back 😍
GGuest UserLocated conveniently about 4 minutes to nearest metro Tsukiji station (hibiya line)
PRO.
• LOCATION
• Friendly staff
• breakfast voucher was given for nearby restaurants
• washing machine with dryer microwave big refrigerator
CON.
• Biggest problem is the toilet it’s quite old and bad horrible
Smell of sewage.
•. No cleaning service (if long stay u need to pay ¥1500 every time for cleaning your room) only towels and rubbish will be change & discard for you.
• if Late check out needed (max until 1.00pm) 50% charge of the room rate.
Since my flight departs quite late and it was a raining day so I did not mind paying extra to stay 2 hours extra.
Anyways for anyone’s reference.

JJudddRoom was great! TBH hotel rooms in Tokyo are generally very small but this one is pretty acceptable. Enough space to open 1 suitcase and plenty of space to put our bags. There’s a washing machine and a balcony in the room too. The bathroom is bigger than I thought. Overall it’s very clean. The only downside is that the TV doesn’t show anything, you’ll need to purchase movies or not watch it at all.
2 mins walk from the metro station. Around 15-20 mins metro away from Tokyo station. There’s a shrine next to the hotel and can check it out too. Quite some restaurants near the hotel too. There’s a really good ramen place called 吉田屋 nearby.
