Visited Tokyo for many years, this time I wanted to try out new area therefore we choose this hotel at Azabujuban. We have the room at the lowest floor, front desk said hotel room was 100% occupied therefore no chance to change. I do really like the balcony but don’t understand why there is no chair for sitting, seems that it is not designed for guests use. At around 4:45am, we were awaken by the emergency alarm. The red signal was loudly on together with a broadcasting informing us to escape immediately because of a fire. All the guests went downstairs to the street, (actually not so many, I guess within 20), after about 10 minutes we were told that we can go back to the room as there was no fire. Upon arrival at the room, shocked again by the emergency alarm, red signal was loudly on again and broadcast saying that there was no fire… after all, may be the hotel think it is normal to had false alarm in middle of the night therefore not any follow up apologize. Area is quiet and cozy, there is no shopping mall around, restaurants can be found easily anywhere. Pricewise, the hotel service level is much lower than my expectations.

The room is not very big, but it is not crowded, it is clean, the owner is very good, you can see a little Tokyo Tower on the street next to it ~ easy to travel, not far from the subway, touching the elevator
Roppongi Hotel S

The hotel is centrally located in Roppongi and walking distance to many places. It is modern and definitely deserving a design award. The room I had was spacious for a Japanese hotel and had all amenities including fridge and Nespresso maker. My only gripe was that the work space is separated from the bathroom by a floor-to-ceiling glass window. Makes for a fun experience if you are sharing such room with someone... (1 point deduction). What I really disliked was the breakfast. Neither Japanese nor western, it seemed a confused mixture of flavors. I mean, I have never been in a Japanese hotel that has no rice cooker for breakfast or offers miso soup. This was for me a huge letdown and I strongly encourage any visitors to not pre-pay for the ”breakfast.”

This was our second stay at The Roppongi Cat House and once again, it met all our expectations. It’s a clean, functional Tokyo apartment in a fantastic area. It’s really close to the metro as well as all the chic little cafés and restaurants of Azabujuban. We received clear email instructions about checking in and out. The washing machine is nice and there’s equipment for hanging laundry as well as this convenient shelf for storage and hanging clothes. The fridge is a reasonable size, and there’s even a separate good-sized freezer.

●Location It is about 5 minutes on foot from Azabujuban. It's located in a place where you entered from a big street, but it wasn't difficult to find because it wasn't complicated. I think it was a 3-4 minute walk to the convenience store. ●Room It's very spacious, probably because it's a one-floor room. The living room has a glass ceiling and manually opened and closed fabric shades. I liked that the living room and bedroom were somehow separated. The bathroom is also very large. The bathtub was big and took a long time to fill with hot water. Outside the window of the bathroom is an atrium, and there are no curtains, probably because the opposite side is a wall.

It is new, clean and beautiful. The shower is good and the drainage is good. It is a short walk from Akababashi Station on the Toei Subway Oedo Line and has good transportation.
