Pearl Hotel Kayabacho Reviews

The hotel's nearest station was a metro station, which was convenient for us. This allowed us to take advantage of the Tokyo Subway Ticket, offering affordable travel on metro lines. The station was about an 8–10 minute walk from the hotel. However, the WiFi was not very strong, and there was a slight smell of smoke in the room. We originally wanted a non-smoking room, but since the hotel was fully booked, we had to accept the available option. The staff was helpful, and the overall service was good. Guests need to collect amenities from a shelf opposite the elevator. The laundry room has only two washing machines and two dryers, so plan accordingly if you need to wash and dry your clothes. There is no microwave in the room, but room service is available when needed.

The hotel was near subway, very comfortable and around with convenient stores around. Room was clear and cleaning service was nice. The worse thing is, the wall is too thin so you can hear clearly and the bed was not so soft.

Hotel is close to the train station and convenient store. I stayed in this hotel in winter season, February, there is only heater in the room, even it is written that there is air-con. I believe that it depends on the season, but make sure to contact with the hotel first for meeting your requires.

Pretty clean and just ample space for one person. The wifi was a bit laggy on the first night, but then it was okay during the rest of my trip. I loved that it’s not in a busy area and it’s really close to the train stations. There are also a lot of food and convenience stores nearby too. Recommended!

The hotel is accessible to metro subway and bus. The bedroom for two people has limited space . Lack of amenities

Hotel was pretty decent. Service was friendly at the front desk and at the restaurant. We were on the second floor in a corner room. There was a constant sound from the elevator motor when it ran I think but it wasn't too loud. The hallway on the 2nd floor sightly smelled like a wet dog. Room was clean although the shower curtain needed to be changed. Room was relatively quiet but during the early evening the thumps from the room above was apparent. Nighttime was quiet. Room is a little dated but we had everything we needed. Lots of hotels in Tokyo charge an arm and a leg for 3 beds but this hotel was reasonable. Price was right and close enough to convenience stores and the subway. I added the breakfast buffet to our room charge. The breakfast was good and had your basic needs like eggs, sausage, fish, steamed vegetables, fried noodles, fried potatoes, miso soup, rice, fruit, yogurt, bread, and salad greens, japanese items like natto, ume, hijiki, tamagoyaki, tsukemono etc.., coffee, tea, juice and milk. For the price, it was all what we needed for a hearty breakfast. I'd stay here again.

Room feels just enough for one person. Its cozy and clean but may feel abit tight if have to share the room. The location is amazing, nearby to places that we wanted to visit in Tokyo. Staff were nice and helpful.

It is a good located budget hotel in Tokyo. Staff is very friendly, room was clean and cleaning was done nicely. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast - with at one glance small variety but on another - just enough and nutritious. I especially liked fish, miso soup and tasty grapefruit. Yes, room is small, the pillows and mattress are orthopaedic and so we had great sleep after long days walking. If you are not used to these, it may seem hard for you. Room walls are thin so we were glad our neighbours were polite and quiet, so as we were. We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Excellent location and staff. We were able to drop our bags off prior to check in. Beds were comfortable.... Studio room fine for sleeping but tight space for 2 people.

Good staff, tasty breakfasts. Yet room is very dusty, someones hairs on the carpet... Bathroom is clear enough, everyday changing towels and bedding were okay.

Great location near the metro. Pretty clean room. Breakfast was good, a buffet style. Good Wi-Fi speed. Enough space in the room. TV, refrigerator, hair dryer. Bathroom has shampoo and other things needed. Every day the staff was bringing new towels and water.

Small but clean rooms, daily cleaning and all the amenities necessary for a trip of several days were in the room, unfortunately the hotel staff could not answer some questions
