Calm Riverside Inn/Close to Ikebukuro Reviews

It was my first trip to Japan with my boyfriend, so I had a lot of concerns about where to stay, but Shibuya and Asakura were not too far away, and there was a subway station near the accommodation, so it was nice. It was quiet and had a good atmosphere. However, they gave us 4 towels for 4 days, so it was a bit difficult for the two of us. Since there were towels and a washing machine, I think it would be better to bring detergent.

This is just my impression of the room I stayed in. If you're just staying there, there's no problem overall. It feels like an apartment-type hotel. The only things I noticed were 1) the cleaning was a bit poor (there were a few hairs in the bathroom, there was quite a bit of dust in the bedroom, and there were still ice cubes in the freezer) 2) I don't recommend the shampoo (this may have only happened in the room I stayed in, but I think shampoo is especially uncomfortable for women. You might want to bring your own.) These are the only two things I can think of. There are no amenities, so you have to bring your own. There was a Panasonic hair dryer. There was a kitchen, so basic kitchen utensils were provided. (There was also a refrigerator and freezer.) There was a washing machine, powder detergent, and fabric softener. There was an extension cord. The common areas such as the entrance and stairs are a bit narrow, so it may be a bit difficult to bring large carry-on bags. The cleaning and amenities (including shampoo) were a bit poor, but other than that I had no particular problems, so I thought it was pretty good value for money.

We stayed as a couple. It was close to the station and there was a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven on the way, so it was convenient!! There were only towels on the first day, so we washed them when we used them the next day. There was also fabric softener. The facilities were good, with knives, scissors, frying pans, chopsticks, forks, spoons, a microwave, etc.

I liked the hotel accommodation. Quiet area next to the river, very nice embankments. A few minutes to the metro station, near the station there are several supermarkets and a sandwich shop. About 15 minutes walk away is a large supermarket. The main attractions and areas are about 25-30 minutes away by metro. The condition of the apartment is good - freshly renovated, cozy, there is air conditioning. The space is compact, which is typical for Tokyo. A new building, it is quiet, you could not hear the neighbors. There is everything you need for cooking, toiletries. Of the things that were missing - hooks for towels in the bathroom.
