I stayed here over the long weekend .... the phone line in the room was not working, and I was not informed of this during check-in ... the body wash in the bathroom was also not working, and I had to inform the front desk twice before it was working properly.....

Great stay and the view is awesome. Surrounding environment is quite convenient as well~

The location is strategic ✨ All at walking distance and room is spacious ♥️ Please improve in cleanliness as bathroom were mouldy on certain areas and cabinets and coffee area were dusty 🫠 The SVC were half asleep answering calls when transferring my call to IRD😅 Overall birthday celebration with Jazz were superb 🥰

Worth for the price. Deluxe King Room with Breakfast. Only comment is Carpark except floor 3A, the next level at 6A-7B take times, room sound proof is pour, can hear lobby noise & in the bathroom can hear next room some noice too…

I had higher expectations for this hotel, but unfortunately, my experience fell short in several areas. The room was not clean upon check-in, and the fridge wasn’t functioning properly. To their credit, the staff responded quickly and replaced the fridge, which I appreciated. However, housekeeping was generally slow to respond to requests throughout my stay. The swimming pool was a major letdown—very small and overcrowded, with some guests not wearing proper swim attire, which was off-putting. Additionally, the quality of the pillows and towels was poor and clearly in need of replacement. Overall, the hotel requires better maintenance and significant improvement in cleanliness to meet guest expectations.

Great Value for Money The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is convenient with easy access to shops and transport. For the price, this hotel exceeded my expectations — highly recommended!

Overall the hotel is a good choice. The Deluxe room is spacious and highly recommended. Opportunity for improvement: 1. Need to have a proper queue system during check-in. 2. The breakfast quality can be further improved. There is lack of manpower to clear the table, utensils, to refill the coffee bean, milk and many more. 3. The hotel should need to get the room access cards ready for 2 cards/room and not just 1 card.

The Good Stuff The room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with subtle jazz elements that gave it character without being over the top. I had a great night’s sleep thanks to the comfy bed and blackout curtains. The views from the upper floors, especially at sunset, are gorgeous. The rooftop infinity pool was a highlight—perfect for a quiet dip or just lounging while taking in the city and sea views. The gym next to it was clean and well-maintained too, though not massive. Service & Atmosphere The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in was quick, and housekeeping was consistent. The jazz-inspired theme throughout the hotel added a nice artistic touch, though it would’ve been cool to have a bit more live music or events to really bring it to life. Minor Drawbacks While the hotel is in a good spot, it’s not directly in the heart of the action—you’ll need a short drive to get to George Town or Batu Ferringhi. Also, parking can get a bit tight during peak hours. Final Thoughts Jazz Hotel Penang is a solid choice for travelers who want a sleek, relaxing stay with a unique personality. It’s not perfect, but it hits a lot of high notes and I’d happily stay again. Rating: 4/5

The room is cleanliness and have china TV show have swimming pool and pool bar at the roof top and small Gym room. The worker all are friendly. With ready bath boom and ready shampoo .
