Tanah Rata Hotels with Airport pickup service

Hotel located on top of a hill in Tanah Rata area, might be hard to reach without car if not driving. However, convenient place in general to most attractions. Room was ok, only problem is blur TV, maybe reception wasn’t good. Parking was free. Good value for money.

Amazing breakfast options, including Indian and Chinese stations, in addition to the standard, I also ate dinner at the hotel during a rainy evening, it was delicious! Hotel is located uphill, for those who may have mobility issues, this would be challenging, however, it’s a 5 minute walk from the food stalls so not far. Walk another couple of minutes and you’re on the main high street. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Didn’t use the pool due to the rain, however looked nice enough. The room was spacious however the bed and pillows were too soft for me, found it difficult to sleep. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I think housekeeping could do with slight improvement. Overall, it was a good hotel that I would recommend.

The location of Avillion Cameron Highlands is quite convenient, with everything you need within walking distance. There’s a convenience store, restaurants, fashion stores, and even a Mr. DIY on the ground floor, along with some playgrounds for kids (though many shop lots remain empty). The street food options outside the hotel building are a nice bonus, and breakfast at the hotel, while simple, is acceptable. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. Finding the hotel can be challenging as there’s no signage to guide you. The cleanliness of the room needs attention, as the cushions, sofa, and beds’ headboards have an unpleasant smell, suggesting they haven’t been cleaned in a while. Overall room hygiene is moderate but could be better. With a few improvements, the experience here could be much more enjoyable.

This was the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. If you want to stay in a safe and friendly place, DO NOT BOOK HERE. The check-in time is 3:00 but we arrived after 4:00. However, the room we checked into still had the previous guest's towels and there were no new towels in the room. When we asked the receptionist for new towels, she told us they were in the laundry. We checked in after the check-in time, but there were no towels available, so we had to wait for them without being able to shower, which disrupted our schedule. Towels that were provided later were also in very poor condition. The water. The shower hose was terrible for taking a shower. I booked a Suite Room but the shower hose was barely producing any water so I ended up showering using a plastic bowl like the one pictured below. Who knew someone would take a horrible shower in a suite room? The water was hot for a bit, then cold, then hot again for a bit. It was the perfect way to catch a cold in Camerons rainy weather. The lights I couldn't turn off the light in my Suite Room. The light started to flicker and the switch was electrified when I turned it off to go to sleep at 2am. That is really dangerous. If I get electrocuted, who will be responsible? The reception desk was closed and the night staff came to the room, but there was nothing he could do about it. When I went to the reception desk the next day, the reception staff didn't even know what had happened the night before. I can't believe it. The suite room couldn't turn off the light and the switch was electrified. The last thing that was horrible was the reception staff. After all of this had happened, the receptionist was very blunt and I never heard any kind of apology for the inconvenience. She simply called another member of staff and asked me to move to another room, with no intention of explaining or apologising. I don't know why she has to work at the reception desk. This place needs to train its reception staff.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found it very relaxing and quiet. The rooms are a great size (we looked around when it was empty to can vouch for them all), the wifi is good, the kitchen and breakfast are brilliant (well i say kitchen its really just tea making stuff and toasters but thats all you need really). Jay (the host) is brilliant and makes you feel really looked after. Thanks Jay! We would highly recommend this place, and also the Japanese restaurant in town - great break from Malay food if like us you have been travelling for a while. Enjoy

Everything is perfect except for the size of the room. It’s too small for its price. I love the interior. It provides Netflix but sometimes internet connection was problematic too. Staff were great. They’re efficient and friendly. Delicious food for all breakfast lunch and dinner

So far all good for the price we paid but there is some things might be improved which is there is non receptionist for 24 hours and if emergency case we can’t find them. Our check in was self check in and the key was just on the table with our names only so it is like not secure at all overall okayy so far nothing much to tell. Thank you Mr David.
