Tamandare Hotels with Wi-Fi

The location is fantastic. The layout of the pool, beach chairs and recliners is perfect. Lot of shade or sun. Fantastic music. Excellent massage at a very reasonable price. Sadly there was construction all around the hotel and from the Pousada next door. Drilling and banding starts at 7 am. The rooms may well be spectacular in the future when the new builds are up but the website and room photos are very misleading. Rooms are shabby and our ground floor room had mould and an old dripping shower. We moved and the room was much better but not like the rooms in the photos as advertised by the hotel. We found the drinks and food poor and overpriced at this hotel. The breakfast had a poor choice and frequently ran out of things. There appears to be no management or leadership on the catering side. Service is poor - we waited 45 minutes for our omelette at breakfast and then gave up, There were only 5 occupied tables in the restaurant area. Plenty of staff but they stand around chatting. Reception staff are polite and accommodating. The swimming pool seemed very murky for the size especially as there were few people using it. We enjoyed our stay as a base and found other places to eat and drink and spend our days.
