Outstanding hotel but in the middle of nowhere. Also next to a Thai restaurant there aren't many good food choices nearby. Breakfast at this place has a lot of items but not much that are suited for westerns. Overall, I recommend staying in the city and paying few extra bucks.

Our stay at this hotel was a mixed experience, and overall, I wouldn't consider it worth the cost. The hotel itself is old, and the facilities feel very dated. While it boasts a large swimming pool and spa areas, they were unusable during our stay as they were running with cold water. We didn’t see anyone using them. The “beauty pool,” which was advertised as having heated water, was disappointing due to a strong sewer-like smell. Additionally, the sauna is not complimentary for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable. The dining experience was also underwhelming. The à la carte food in the restaurant was below average in quality, the portions were small, and the prices were high. However, the atmosphere was pleasant, though it felt odd being the only customers at 8 p.m. On a brighter note, the breakfast was excellent. I would rate it four stars for its variety of local and aboriginal food, which was a highlight of the stay. The timing of activities for kids was inconvenient as well. While kids could play pool and ping pong for free in the evening (after we arrived at 7 p.m.), all other activities were scheduled for late morning or early afternoon, after checkout time. The hotel’s location is another drawback. It is far from restaurants and busy areas, making it necessary to have a car or take a taxi. The one positive aspect of our stay was the room. We booked the premium family room/suite, which provided separate sleeping areas for parents and kids—a feature we appreciated. However, this came at a premium price, costing 25% more. I had requested a room with a view, and the front desk clerk was accommodating, which I appreciated. Overall, while the room and breakfast were nice, the rest of the experience didn’t justify the cost or the inconvenience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the facilities and services.

Breakfast buffet was very good, mostly Asian items but a good amount of western style items also.

To many people have meal at the same time we have wait to long!

Although the hotel is not new, the room is well maintained. The only downside is the location, there isn’t much food options nearby and the food at the hotel restaurant is just okay.

If you book in the period of ***** Chinese new year. you will feel so crowded. you will eat breakfast at the specified time.

Taitung is a little far away, but Naluwan Hotel is a place where you can stay for a whole day without having to go out. The only thing that needs improvement is that the number of people eating breakfast is really scary. It takes half an hour just to queue up to get in. The breakfast is rich and there are many choices! I will not look for other hotels in Taitung in the future. I will stay at Naluwan.

There are many choices for breakfast. There are many activities on Saturdays and Sundays. It is recommended to bring children. The room is also very spacious. There is a bathtub for taking a bath. The parking is in the basement. If it rains, you don’t have to worry about getting caught in the rain.

The room was super sleepy and there were so many facilities for the kids to play that they didn’t want to go home. Especially the dinner buffet. The kids said it was delicious and very filling.

There are no problems with the hotel's hardware and service staff. I just feel that the on-the-job education of young employees needs to be strengthened. Maybe I was unlucky enough to encounter the night shift counter. The correspondence at the pool counter was very poor. My daughter goes to a boarding school near the hotel, so we need I often go to Taitung to visit my daughter. I hope I won’t encounter any unpleasant things again next time I stay there.
