Forward Hotel Taipei Reviews

The hotel location is great, it’s right in the middle of Ximending shopping district. If you are a side sleeper you will find the bed really uncomfortable as it is incredibly hard, almost like sleeping on the floor.

Very close to the subway station, not far from the night market and a lot of restaurants around. Staff is friendly and tried to be helpful. Could use the washing machine and the dryer for free. Also there are some massage chairs in the lobby. Breakfasts are okay. If you come around 9am, feels like not so much food left.

Room is smaller than expected, saw some insects in the room sometimes. Pillow is too flat and low. Water pressure is a bit insufficient but the hair dryer is good. Bottled water is provided everyday which is good. Lobby is comfortable and spacious. There are also a few massage chairs in the lobby, a big thumbs up. Staffs are friendly and willing to help. Overall a good hotel in a convenient location.

Super spacious room and great for last in your trip to do heavy lifting packing. Room is clean too, would recommend. Direct bus to Rao he night market with a couple of mins walk. 7-11 store which opens till late night (not sure if it is 24hour) but 2am no issue if you need supper!

The rooms are very small and the walls are very thin. You can hear the other guests from the next room or even in the hallway very loudly. You can even hear the TV of the room when you’re walking in the hallway. Other than those things, I think it’s a great hotel, because they do provide laundryfor free and the front desk representative are very polite.

Hotel is close to many restaurants, very convenient to look for dinner and supper.

Up : Good location(near MRT station, 3 minutes by walk, near convenience store), Clean, Kind, Windows, Wide bathroom Down : Smaller room than I thought(So slightly expensive for me, but enough space), Poor wifi connection in the room

After a night’s sleep, the pros and cons are as follows: *The room is small and the sound insulation is not very good. The sound from the corridor is obvious *The bathroom is large and clean, with a disposable heated toilet *The bed is on the firm side (which I quite like), and the length of the bed is more than 200 centimeters, which is a big plus for me. (I really hate beds with a length of 180cm, because due to my height, my feet will stick out, which will cause a floating feeling, resulting in extremely poor sleep quality, but many hotel beds are like this) *Breakfast is not exquisite but quite rich, and the dishes will be replenished at 9:30

The location of the hotel is very convenient. It is quiet but prosperous. It only takes 1 minute to walk to Songjiang Nanjing Road MRT Station. There are also restaurants nearby that are open until two o'clock in the morning. The hotel colleagues are warm and hospitable, and solve different problems for guests. Only The breakfast is relatively simple, but the price and location of the room win. There really aren’t many choices in Taipei.

The front desk staff is polite, the breakfast is average, and the room facilities are average. For example, I booked a standard terrace, but it is more like a "back alley". The bathtub is not connected to the water pipe. The waiter explained that it is normal because the bathtub is flowing.

The free breakfast provided by the hotel has many changes, and the buffet dishes are not the same every day. It is less than a minute's walk from the MRT station exit, which is really convenient. There is also a bathtub in the room, which is very relaxing to take a bath. Enjoy it. There are massage chairs provided for free on the first floor. I go there for more than half an hour every day. There is a 7-11 not far from the hotel. However, the sound insulation of the room is not very good. You can hear the noise in the corridor outside the room clearly. Next Will consider staying here again

The Cp value is very high! It was just renovated in 2024. The only thing I encountered was a peculiar smell in the toilet. I hope it can be improved. The mattress is too soft and it will vibrate when you move it. The breakfast is very rich. The advantage is that there is a parking lot but you need to leave the key.
