The Tango Hotel Taipei Shilin Reviews

The location of this hotel is nearby MRT station as it just need 2 minutes walk. The room is clean and comfortable.

The room was clean perfectly, all facilities are nice, the location is perfect for travel by train, and the hotel also located near shilin night market too!

Pros: right opposite jiantan mrt exit 2, provide luggage delivery service to room after we store our luggage before check in time, nice room view with window view bathtub, free flow drink and snacks at lounge, daily replenish in room snacks and drinks Cons: breakfast with limited choice with 3 main dish

Location next to railway station which is good However, check in and check out time too rigid - Even though we carried a one-year old child, staff called up at 1057hours to urge us to check out at 1100hours which is very strange across hotel all over the world. Early check in is not available- only at 1600 hours or you had to pay TWD 500 per hour for early check in Hygiene - When we enter the room - we saw a spider on the wall Facilities - Breakfast is the worst we have ever seen in a hotel with limited choice of food. Breakfast ended at 1030 hours even on weekend... there are many pillows in the room but all of them were so soft... Overall the experience was just soso....

The hotel is in a great location, close to Shilin market and the Jian Tan MRT. The rooms were also very comfortable, with great amenities. The service attitude of the staff is cold and lacking. While they are professional, they do not appear willing to serve or assist. The check-in time of 4 pm is also very late, and they are not flexible. The early check-out at 11 amis also too early. The hotel gym is tiny at the basement carpark, equipment were also basic and lacking.

Very convenient location near the MRT and the facilities are clean. Good breakfast spread too.

It is next to a convenient subway station and is well appointed.

The location of the hotel is great, directly across from the Jiantan MRT station and also a 5 minutes walk from Shilin Night Market. The amenities in the hotel room was nice and thoughtful. Refreshments are provided in the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, the wifi in the hotel was subpar. The room was modern and having a balcony was a plus. However the rooms are smaller than the The Tango Jiantan (which is right next door) and about half the size of The Tango Xinyi, which had little space for 2 people to share and made it a bit difficult to unpack large suitcases. It would be nice if there are a bit more drawers or space to put items. Overall would stay again for the location but would recommend the Jiantan branch instead for more spacious rooms.

I love the hotel. I purposely booked the hotel as it’s near Shilin night market as I had a 19-hour layover and I wanted to go there. It’s 5 min walking distance, amenities are good, comfortable bed, big jacuzzi in the room. Breakfast was included. Professional stuffs. I’d love to come back again!

The hotel is nice and clean. Staffs are kind and provide good services. I will be back again if I go Taipei next time.

Just next to Jiantan Station and no issue to find the hotel even though we arrived late in the evening. Room was spacious with great amenities. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Appreciated the free items in the minibar. Would be better if there was gym facilities equipped. Otherwise, it was a great stay!

Room and toilet are clean, the bed is fine. Generally is good.
