A perfect place if you want peace with a hot spring environment. The hotel provides transport between the hotel & the train station as it's far & walking upslope. I love the peacefulness & my private personal hot spring bath. The room is clean & spacious with all the necessary amenities.

Location: Located around the Thermal Valley in Beitou, this hotel is a little further up than the cluster of hot spring hotels. Getting up is an uphill hike so do call the hotel beforehand for them to send a van for you (Black Electric Staria with the hotel logo). There are payphones located around Beitou and Xinbeitou Stations. Beitou Station waiting area: Exit 1 from Beitou MRT station towards Guangming Rd. You can see 3 bus stop signs. Xinbeitou waiting area: Outside Sushi Express. Service: Service is alright. If you don’t speak Mandarin, it’s a bit of a challenge. Service is good. They will try to help you. Cleanliness: Hotel is a bit dated so expect for it to not be the cleanest. Our windows open to nothing. It would be nice to have hot water that is not spring water for showers. Amenities: Hotel provided some toiletries. Drinking water provided (approach front counter). Hot spring available in room but in an enclosed area. No hot water available. Only spring water. No elevator - it was a challenge to climb stairs 😂

I thought it might be inconvenient because it was far from the city center, but it was no problem for taking a stroll. I was able to relax in the hot spring in the room. The porridge for breakfast was also delicious.

The hotel is a bit old. When I arrived, I was given room 201. I found that the bathtub was not the one I requested. In the end, the hotel gave me room 305. The room was much larger than 201. The bathtub was not very big, so my friend who was taller had to hug his legs to soak. . The hotel provides a shuttle bus, and it only costs NTD100 from Xinbeitou Station to the hotel via Uber. Even if you walk, it’s not too far, but you should pay attention to safety when the road is dark at night. It only takes 10 to 15 minutes to walk to various attractions. I stayed here for 2 nights.

It would be more appropriate to call this hotel a B&B. It is ok to enjoy the "White Mine Hot Spring" in general, but the environment is not good. It is commendable that they have a special car to take us back to the station to the "hotel", and they did not see us enjoying their breakfast in the morning. We will also call our room to remind us of meal times.

The hotel is located mid-level in Beitou, away from the busy Xinbeitou Station, and the surrounding area has the feel of a hot spring area. We arrived by taxi, we had suitcases, and the hotel specially arranged a room on the second floor for us. The uncle also took our luggage from the reception desk to the room for us, which was very considerate. The room is large, very clean and decorated in Japanese style. The white sulfur spring hot spring water is very comfortable. Breakfast is on the first floor and is delicious. Luggage can be stored after check-out. We went out to play. Geothermal Valley Park, Beitou Library, and Hot Spring Museum are all within reach. There are also restaurants and convenience stores nearby. After 3 o'clock, you can ask the hotel to load your luggage and send it to the area near Xinbeitou Station without going back to the hotel.

Shadian is connected to the MRT, so shopping and eating are very convenient, and I fell asleep quickly after taking a bath.
