Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable
We were charged twice for our stay at Novotel — once at the time of booking and again at check-in. When we questioned this at reception, the receptionist spoke to the manager, who confirmed that the duplicate charge would be refunded after checkout and sent to the finance team.
It has now been over a week, and nothing happened. When we followed up, we were then told it would take 15 days to receive the refund. This is absolutely ridiculous. They had no issue taking our money instantly, but returning money they took in error suddenly takes weeks?
This is extremely poor customer service, unprofessional handling of a basic billing issue, and shows a complete lack of urgency or accountability. Guests should not have to chase their own money after a hotel makes a mistake.
Very disappointing experience. I will not be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values transparency and decent service.

The location was very near the stadiums, which was where we were headed, therefore very convenient. There's mcdonalds and subway downstairs, too. No nearby convenience store, the nearest is an IGA about 10 mins walk. Almost no amenities inside the room - except the towel. But you can ask for slippers, water from the friendly reception. If you use tray service (get something delivered to your room), thats $5. So i suggest you get what you need from the recep and they are more than happy to assist.

They do not provide microwave in the room. We also need to ask for toothpaste and toothbrush. However the location is great for games or concert. The breakfast is nice but not many options.

Pretty decent overall. Most amenities you have to ask the front desk for which is a slight hassle but nothing dealbreaking. Room had a slight damp/mould smell which was unfortunate but again, not detrimental or a dealbreaker.

The front desk service was excellent; they were very responsive and provided detailed directions to the places I wanted to visit. I had dinner there, which was the best I'd had in the past few days. The only downside was the limited water supply; it was only available upon check-in and the portions were very small.

The windows were poorly fitted, causing a terrible draft, especially in the bathroom. This may have been because the room was on the 14th floor and at the end of the building.
