"We had a short stay here due to a layover in Manila, but for the price, we were satisfied with our time. The staff were all very kind and gave us a warm welcome.
While the room felt a bit dated, it was fairly clean, and the amenities were well-provided.
The elevators can get crowded during peak hours, which might feel inconvenient if you’re on a higher floor.

"Absolutely excellent location, right in the heart of BGC with all the amenities at your finger tips.
The apartment was clean and a good size, but would be small for a family.
The car service was expensive however the driver was very friendly and helpful and as I was arriving early and on my own, the expense was worth it (although in hindsight probably just as safe getting a Grab).
I’d recommend staying here again."

"Anywhere you go on the Philippines expect to get great service. This place was no exception. From the moment our Grab car parked, an attendant came and took our bags right away. They always have someone opening the door for you and greeting you. Check in is on the 5th floor and not on the bottom floor with which we are used to. The room was clean but you can tell it needs an update. Some floor tiles in the bathroom had chips and the toilet seat was wobbly. We ordered room service our last night so we could pack and the food was amazing for the price point. I would definitely stay here again because it is so close to shops and restaurants and again the service is wonderful!"

-very thin wall, could hear next room very clearly
-room has weird arrangement, TV only facing the bed, can't turn to sofa.
-oversized dining table placement blocking access to the plugs and ports
-toilet paper holder kept falling off
-one of the elevators was jumpy, going up
-housekeeping didn't replace towels after room cleaning
-found sticker still stuck on the orange slice in my cocktail at the ground floor restaurant

"The room is very spacious and nice. The only complaint I have is that the lobby reception is not dealing with this property, it seems like they have their own admin contactable through WhatsApp. So when a person showed up to take deposit from me, I was a little worried that I will never get it back. They are also quite slow to reply messages, you need to call them.
But other than the administration part, everything else was great. It is also very close to the Venice Grand Canal Mall."

"The location is very central in Uptown and right next to the block of Uptown mall. There is an underpass which makes it easy and cool to get to the mall. It is already very near Mitsukoshi and right across Grand Hyatt.
The staff are helpful although we had some hiccups about some appliance/things around the house that initially weren’t working. The househelp eventually came over but on our last full day. I still appreciate though all the help and dont mind going back. They have towels and house slippers so it’s very convenient to check in there and the price is fantastic for the length of stay, the location and space."

"The good: once I had the right room, it was great. Great location with a connection to the mall. Great view on a high floor.
The bad: I was given the wrong room from the one I booked. The host did not respond until I eventually had to contact trip.com, and they were able to contact the host. Basically, I was able to get the corrwxt room the next day, which was great except for when i discovered there was no toilet paper anywhere to be found in the room. I was given the wrong combo to the room and wouldn't have been able to enter if it wasn't for the help of the nice cleaner. The room wasn't ready, and I had to wait for cleaning after i arrived at checkin time.
I had a LOT of problems with booking this place. If not for all the issues, it would have been great. I guests Goodluck to the next guests."

"The address is not clear. You have to call to ask which room you want. The landlord has never shown his face. There is no breakfast. The room is not cleaned. There are no toothbrushes or combs. It is a purely self-service hotel and not suitable for long-term stays. There are cockroaches in the house. The air conditioner is very loud. The Internet is very slow. Poor, the price is high and the price/performance ratio is low."

IInaRwe absolutely loved our stay at the shangri la. we weren't supposed to stay there but had to find a hotel in manila last minute after our connecting flight to siargao was cancelled.
the area is very safe with lots of shopping around. there is a kids adventure land (have to pay extra though) and the restaurant at the pool is fab. i attended a very special yoga class at the gym. i really couldn't have asked for more.

**Check-Out Process:**
One area that could be improved is the check-out process. During my stay, it took around 40 minutes to complete, which felt unnecessarily long. This delay was a bit frustrating, especially when trying to wrap up a trip efficiently. Streamlining this process would greatly improve the guest experience.

GGuest UserService - minus 1 star as check in wasnt as breezy as one would hope. Went to the lobby - it’s your usual 3-4 star lobby. But our contact was at the lobby extension. Apparently, the main lobby was for permanent residents - transients have a different reception area on the other side of the driveway. It was a square and sparse airconditioned room with 2 or 3 3-seater sofas, a desk for the person in charge and 2 seats for the first in line. It felt more like a triage room than a reception area. Check in is at 3pm and there was a queue (aside from those seated, 5 or more were standing in line). The afternoon sun was shining through the glass doors - be ready to wear sunglasses indoors during the wait if youre worried about uv rays. We were there a qtr past and were next in line. Apparently the ones before us had issues with their reservation since the owner of their unit never relayed their booking info to the bldg mgt. Ours was prepared though - they had a representative who reached out to us during the morning of check in. Basically the rep dealt with the bldg mgt’s person in charge - we just had to show our IDs and wait.
Location is great - lots of food options just a block away in any direction.
Room Amenities - pretty standard: absolute water (4 small bottles), shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush & toothpaste, shower cap, cotton pads & q tips. Their bath towels were super fluffy though

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Thompson Parksuites Tower 2. The place is perfect for a family of four — spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The host was extremely accommodating and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns, which made our stay even more pleasant. Overall, it’s one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had so far, and we will definitely be booking this place again in the near future. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserPROS: Nice location, great set of amenities, responsive host. Room is clean and well stocked (shampoo, body wash, etc). Nice view. AC is fucntioning well. Electronic door lock.
CONS: [1] No washing machine (not recommended for longer stays). Laundromat downstairs is slow as hell (will take 3 days just for a kilo of laundry. [2] living room Tv is not working, no TV on the bedrooms. [3] not the fault of the owner but the condo building itself is in bad condition, dark hallways, slow elevators and moldy damp parking floors (smells foul). [4] No electric socket for induction cooker and other appliances.
SUGGESTIONS: [1] please add washing machine as an amenity for longer term stays. [2] provide extension cord/outlet in the kitchen area for guest to use the provided appliances. [3] replace the bright roll-up curtains to blackout curtains to block sunlight, particularly helpful for late day sleepers.

a security guard and the receptionist girl Sophia, reported false alarms to the police just because I was a foreigner trying to scare me and intimidate me. In particular, the security guard took advantage of the fact that I had unwittingly offended Sophia and locked me in the hotel office without giving me a chance to explain the reason.from the beginning, he wanted to blackmail me, shame on him

JjcdfrThere was a couple of cockroaches in the bathroom and in the main door. There was an insect repellent can, but empty. So no use at all.
The appliances were all dusty, floor was clean though.
The air conditioning was not cold even if it’s set at 17 degrees. It felt like we were using a fan.
The wifi doesn’t have a connection, so we had to use our own mobile data.
We can’t seem to get any channels in the small TV.
