Providencia Hotels with Pools

The warmest of welcome from a great team at Ugo Hotel. The hotel is well placed in a nice area. It was modern, very light, airy and clean. Our room (334) was on the third floor facing towards what looked like residential apartments. Our only wish was that our view hadn’t been slightly obscured by a wall to another part of the hotel. The reception / lobby / bar was a good place to sit. The main light hanging above made a statement. The room itself whilst not the biggest had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (3 night) during our tour. There were two big, very comfortable beds. This combined with the pillows supplied led to 3 good nights sleep. The second bed was great for laying clothes out and packing ‘ unpacking. The WC / Shower were in the ensuite with the washbasin just outside in an area divided from the bed space by a divider and hanging space. The shower was very good although some might find the floor slippy. There wasn’t a plug in the sink (by design). This was the moment we remembered the travel plug had been left at home. This was an inconvenience when shaving and meant that more water was used than might have been had there been one. We pointed this out as a water saving idea at reception who welcomed the positive feedback. There was good air-conditioning but like most you need to leave one of the key cards in if you want it to continue working when you go out. That said from an energy saving point of view it didn’t take long to cool the room down once we returned. We did turn the AC down at night as like most installations the noise can be a bit of a pain when trying to sleep. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and a nice looking bar with a fantastic team. Not everyone spoke English but we didn’t speak any Spanish but we got by just fine. We had some great Chilean wine and loved the Pisco Sour. Thanks to Laos Silizar for giving me his recipe. There is an enclosed garden area at the back close to the bar with a variety of seating among greenery and to one end a pool. The lifts were quick and we never had to wait more than a few seconds for one. There were two ice cream shops within seconds of the main entrance and a number of nice restaurants. The tallest building in Latin America Sky Costanera was only about a 10 minute walk away. By virtue of its height it has the highest viewing platform in Santiago, from where the 360 degree panoramic view from the 61st and 62nd floors including The Andes is exceptional. Beneath this is a very big shopping centre containing many restaurants of all sorts. We went our for a walk each evening in the direction of the adjoining residential. There were some nice apartment blocks / homes. The area was well lit and felt safe. To summarise we enjoyed staying at Ugo Hotel very much. All of the staff were fantastic. This superior rating is for the hotel restaurant. The spread is wonderful and the service is amazing. Particularly the attention by Carlos the manager, Tabita and Andre, always with a smile and the best attitude. The hotel front desk, unfortunately, has a big issue with answering the phones. We’ve called several times from our room and there’s no answer. We have to come down to the lobby to get the information that we need.

Breakfast is simple, but it is appetizing! Praise! Never have a room on the 4th floor! Too small and too small! The color of the room is too depressed! The floor is too slippery, be careful. The video is a restaurant, the restaurant decoration is not commented, things are very delicious! In general, eating in this house is the right choice, the room is too bad...

The place is amazing to look at, modern arty styles, lighting, graphics, attention to detail. Complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. fully functional kitchen, iron, hairdryer, big TV, toiletries, table and chairs in the studio standard room. My room had a Balcony but onlly with a view of the office building opposite, and partially of the street to the left. Nice rooftop pool, cold water but nice and refreshing in summer, and the view is INCREDIBLE! Views of the Andes mountains and city buildings. Area is close to everything, walkable to most places including some hiking trails, and only 4-5 euros/dollars Uber to the city centre. Staff were young, friendly, helpful and spoke good English. They gave me a map with information on where to go. Buffet beakfast was really nice with fresh juices, fresh fruit and a selection of other foods. Breakfast was in the adjoining Portuguese restaurant which has some great food and not too expensive either. The lifts and toilets were beautifully scented, and smelt great! The hotel price is very affordable and very reasonable for what you get, the location, the pool etc. The catering staff in the restaurant were all very professional and helpful. Disliked · You need a credit card to hold the room and as a deposit and my debit cards and even a credit card were all declined which left me panicking when I got an email saying that the reservation would be cancelled. I emailed lots of times but got no reply until the last minute where I was told that they would hold the room for me. I drew out cash on arrival to use as a deposit and had it returned when I checked out. Unfortunately, there are no recycling facilities at the hotel, but when I asked at reception they offered to take my recycling for me. The AC machines are quite noisy so I ended up not using it, but only the fan. There is no balcony furniture at all and you're not allowed to take any to use from inside. The scrambled egg was a little undercooked for me but when I asked, they'd always cook it a bit more for me. If you need assistance from the rooftop pool area on level 12, there's no telephone to contact reception. Despite all this I'd still highly recommend this hotel 100%!

I gave this hotel 3 stars because of its location and friendly service in the breakfast room . We checked in the evening about 9 pm and the desk clerk knew little to no English . Luckily I was traveling with someone who spoke Spanish but even he had trouble understanding the clerk. He kept asking for our exit papers for leaving Chile . Until he showed us a copy of our PDI form did we understand what he was talking about . The carpets are well worn in the hallways and the rooms , the furniture is also well worn.There was no view except our room looked into apartments across the alleyway . The welcome drink was limited to about 3 choices and again the bartender knew no English , besides having no personality. The breakfast room was pleasant and had average choices … the young lady working the breakfast room recooked our eggs as they were very runny and not edible , she remembered us the following day and Immediately had our eggs the way we preferred. She was very pleasant ! The day desk clerk spoke very good English and was very helpful storing ourluggage as we had a late pick up to the airport . The hotel was clean and had large open spaces . Very centrally located , close to the shopping center inside Gran Costanera Center , the largest and tallest building in South America . Lots of restaurants and bars close by , very nice neighborhood. We felt safe .

We have stayed here for 3 nights with my friend in January. It was a nice and lovely modern hotel. We had a twin room which was good enough for what we needed. The bathroom was big and clean with toiletries. We used room service ordering the continental breakfast the 2nd day and it was really lovely food. We just loved Madrid City and had the best weekend without spending a fortune. We definitely recommend Novotel Hotel.

We arrived at the Abba Presidente on 7 January after cruising South America. Even though our travel agent had inadvertently scheduled us for January 7, 2025, Daniella welcomed us into the hotel, and gave us a room until we sorted the reservations out. The location is ideal just a few hundred metres down the avenue is a large mall. The Costanera Center. This enormous centre has every store. You can possibly imagine over multi levels in addition, a huge food court, which includes dine in restaurants, such as Chile, Tony, Roma, and many others. In the short walk from the hotel to the mall, you will encounter Street vendors with many local, artisan, crafts, clothes, etc. approximately 5 km from the hotel, and the uptown area will get you into the downtown anne Moore historic area where many tours are available to show you around and explain the history of this magnificent city. Taxis, Ubers are available, but we chose to walk and it was an easy walk, uncomfortable, and safe sidewalks to the city centre. In the morning, you can wake up from seven till 10 to very good buffet, breakfast with eggs, sausage, toast, fruit, yogurt, cereal, and more. I did find the coffee, a bit strong, but that’s my personal taste. The English spoken to me by the staff was excellent and for this I was very grateful as my Spanish is very bad. It didn’t take long to straighten out my reservation and the manager assured me that all was good. the room we had was more than adequate very spacious with a small sitting area a nice bathroom, a large and comfortable bed, good air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi. I could not have asked for more .The front desk staff organized my taxi to the airport on my departure date without trouble I would definitely stay in this hotel again if and when I return to Chile.!!!

The environment is beautiful, the location is good, there is a large supermarket next to it, the rooms are comfortable and hygienic, and the morning is rich. Facilities are very user-friendly and the scenery outside the window is good. Good value for money, but also staying next time.

This was not our usual pick for Santiago but we had meetings nearby and took a chance. The suburb that Almasur resides in is a quirky and friendly neighbourhood with a charming plaza of restaurants, cafes and bars. There are a few private schools and colleges, the Main Street is cobbled and lined with Plane trees so it has an atmosphere rather like Paris!The hotel is brand new and perfect for business with large rooms. The cafe bar down stairs is great for working and meeting. I will be staying here again.

Olhando as avaliações daqui fiquei um pouco receosa, mas tive uma excelente estrada, não tenho do que reclamar. Fiquei hospedada no Mr. Apart Providencia (na mesma entrada funciona o Mr Hotel e também o Mr Apart, cada um com uma proposta diferente). Os recepcionistas foram bem simpáticos e nos informaran que se tivéssemos passeios cedo, poderíamos avisar na recepção 1 dia antes que eles preparavam o café da manhã pra levar. O café da manhã era gostoso e tinha bastante variedade. O quarto tinha tudo o que precisávamos, tv, frigobar, secador de cabelo, aquecedor e uma mini cozinha com acessórios para cozinhar. A cama era confortável e tinha bastante edredom. A limpeza era feita diariamente. A localização era excelente, perto de restaurantes, do metrô e do shopping. Fizemos tudo a pé. Nada a reclamar.
