Hotels in Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street, Suzhou

The hotel located at the strategic place, good for food and shopping. Anyway, difficult to reach by car and you need to walk a short distance, inconvenient for big luggage. Also to consider as no lift in the hotel. Anyway, staff are super friendly. Love the cat they have.  Cleaning is acceptable but may need to further improve. Hopefully they can look into providing washing machine with a separate dryer as all in one seem not working.

The room is very clean. Equipped with aircond that able to blow hot and cold air..it is also a blessing that the toilet is equipped with smart toilet with heated seat and bidet (which is rare in the country). The staff is very attentive and helpful in carrying our luggage to the room and down the stairs duri8g checkout. Location is walking distance to guanqian road. It also have mini mart beside the hotel.. The hotel is also surrounded by good and delicious restaurant.. Definitely will book again next trip

This is the third time I have stayed here. The hotel is located at Exit 1 of Sanxiang Square on Metro Line 2, and is a 200-meter walk away. If you drive there, there is a parking lot inside where you can park for free. It is a very convenient hotel. And it is more convenient to go to various scenic spots in Suzhou than in previous years. The interior of the Selected Hotel seems to have been renovated, the room structure is more reasonable, the bathroom facilities, and the flow of bathing water are much larger than before. In addition, it may be in response to the country's call for energy conservation, and the six small pieces, bathrobes, etc. in the room have been cancelled. And free self-service laundry and drying facilities have been added, so that our guests can wash clothes conveniently. The room service staff is still as enthusiastic as ever, and they greet guests proactively when they see them. On the morning of the 3rd, the buffet was because there were more people in the restaurant, and the receptionist at the door took the initiative to remind the guests to find a seat before taking the food. These are the fine traditions of the hotel, and I hope they can continue to maintain them. Now I will talk about some shortcomings. First, service: When checking in, the receptionist said that there was another room that had not been cleaned yet, and he had to wait a while, and registered the child's phone number, saying that he would be notified. As a result, we waited in another room for a long time and did not receive a call. We went to check it out ourselves and found that the hygiene had been done, so we entered. It is estimated that there are too many people staying in the room and they forgot to notify. In addition, I forgot to remind you to register the license plate. As a result, when I went out on the 4th, the gate could not be opened. I went back to the front desk to register and I could go out. I hope that the front desk receptionist will ask a question when logging in the check-in information, so that some unnecessary troubles can be avoided. However, when checking out at noon on the 5th, the front desk guy said: How is your stay these days? Is there anything wrong? These questions are very good, and his service awareness is very strong. I have a good impression at once. Second, in terms of facilities, including the internal and external facilities of the guest rooms, there are basically no problems. But there is a problem that there are too few TV channels. When I came here in 19, I remember that there were many channels to watch, but this time, the experience was very bad. When I turned on the TV, there were only 26 channels except for the hotel's promotional channels, and the signal was very stuck. It was not smooth to watch TV. On the evening of the 4th, the TV suddenly had an accident, and the engineers from the engineering department came to replace the TV, which added a few channels. I would like to thank the engineers from the engineering department and the housekeeping staff on the evening of the 4th. In addition, the video-on-demand function of the IP TV is not ”friendly”. After paying once, you only have one day's traffic. If you want to watch, you have to pay again. This is really speechless. It is recommended to use the Wasu IP signal in ordinary people's homes, so that you can watch more channels. In addition, I hope to put some entrance signs on the door of Shuxiangmendi Selected Hotel. I thought this glass door was floor-to-ceiling glass (maybe because it has been renovated?!) I looked for it for about a minute before I realized that it was the entrance to the lobby. Third, it is a pity that you cancelled the lunch and dinner buffet. The morning buffet has a rich variety, but I lost my appetite when I saw the pasta on the morning of the 4th and the tomato noodles on the morning of the 5th. Why? It was like a ball of batter, and no one would take it. The quality of this noodle needs to be checked by the catering department. Of course, the Aozao noodles at the Noodle House on the second floor of your restaurant are a must-try, absolutely delicious. Even my children, who rarely eat noodles, praised your noodles highly. In addition, it is recommended that the service staff in the buffet restaurant work seriously at work, and colleagues should not fight and quarrel with each other, as it will not be good for guests to see. Another suggestion is that the shopping mall of your hotel should add some Suzhou specialties and some souvenirs, and reduce the amount of cultural and creative products. After all, your main business is Shuxiang Hotel, not cultural and creative products. I hope it can be adopted. Finally, I wish Shuxiang Shijia and Shuxiang Mendi Hotel a prosperous business in the new year.

Location location location! Talk about being in the middle of all the action but away from all the noise and crowd. This hotel manages to achieve both with class. The garden is small but beautiful, the grounds are well kept, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are small areas for improvements, such as light and bathroom fixtures, but you’d be nitpicking.

The room is clean and tidy, the supporting facilities are intact, and the toothbrush is a disposable paper cup, not a traditional glass cup, which is a highlight! A very good stay experience, five-star praise!

all good here! the only problem we had was because the entrance was blocked by the ongoing construction (literally right in front of the hotel) so we spent some time and took a big turn to locate the entrance. noise pollution too during the day (they started quite early). but the place is very pretty. bathroom, pretty funny, it’s blur but can see through (a few hotels like that so prolly normal in the country). overall satisfied stay.
