Hotels near Surfers' Paradise, Surfers Paradise

After opening the window in the afternoon, we noticed a lot of insects on the rooftop outside. We informed the hotel, and they assured us it would be resolved by the time we returned from dinner. I'm not sure if winters here aren't cold, but the duvet was extremely thin – essentially just a light blanket sandwiched between two sheets. While it was clean, it felt quite unfamiliar. The hotel also doesn't provide any disposable amenities, so guests need to bring their own. The next morning, there was a three-minute power outage around 8 AM. Later, at 9:30 AM, when we tried to go downstairs, we discovered the elevators weren't working – another power cut. We waited for fifteen minutes, but the power was still out. We asked the cleaning staff nearby, but they couldn't provide any information. We had no choice but to carry our luggage down over twenty flights of stairs. Fortunately, the ground floor exit was accessible; otherwise, once you exit a floor via the fire escape, you can't get back in! I wouldn't recommend the hotel's breakfast. There weren't many options, and due to the power outage, several items weren't available. It was just enough to quickly fill our stomachs. The coffee wasn't freshly ground either; it was from a dispenser. For two adults and one child, it cost over ninety Australian dollars, which was definitely not worth it. The power didn't return until after 10:30 AM, right when we were checking out. Firefighters at the entrance were giving stickers to children and told us to leave quickly. We promptly gathered our belongings and departed. There's a train station right below the hotel, and it's reasonably close to the sea. The immediate area isn't very lively, but you can reach more bustling areas with plenty of dining options within two or three train stops.

I think more than the hotel, the commitment of Trip.com is a scam. Booked for 2 adults and a child and we were given a small room with only one king bed. If you charged me for a 10 year child you should be providing a separate bed. Also there were only 2 towels put in. Lastly we paid for an ocean view room what we got was a lower floor with a big building right in from of us. So I wish I booked from *********** atleast the very honest.

+ Was an excellent stay. Great pools and jacuzzi. - Room clean could be better as they did not top up the tea or sweetener, or laundry detergent. When called to bring sweetener, they brought sugar instead. = But overall, nothing that couldn't be rectified. Would stay again and as I usually do at the Meriton.

The hotel itself was very clean and well-maintained. It’s located on a lively street with plenty of shops, restaurants, and everything you need within walking distance. 24-hour parking was available, so I could leave my car even after check-out and pick it up later, which was very convenient. There were massage shops and delicious food options nearby, and the train station was just a short walk away. Overall, I had a very satisfying stay.

I had a wonderful experience staying at Q1. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and views are just too amazing, making our stay extremely comfortable. The amenities were top-notch, with a well-maintained pool, a fully equipped gym. The location was also perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transportation. Overall, our stay at Q1 exceeded my expectations. This is the second time we stay, and will definitely return.

The location is wonderful .. short walk to surfers paradise and skypoint is just right next door. Easy to get from airport as the tram stop is just right next to skypoint. Many cafe and restaurant choices. Did not use the pool or gym. Noise can be heard from room as the walls are thin. Easy check in .. staff did not advise much on the resort facilities and we figure out the wifi password base on the sticker on the kitchen wall. Our rooms balcony look out into the pool which is nice.

This hotel room is very large, the most worth admiring is the room terrace looking down, seeing a very beautiful river and holiday house, I personally think that compared to other hotel rooms to see the beach on the Gold Coast is more beautiful, if you have the opportunity to travel to the Gold Coast again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.
