pleasant. The price was affordable, especially with the perks offered through the app, which made it great value for money. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food options were good. We also appreciated the availability of locker storage, which made things convenient.
However, one downside was the ongoing maintenance work during our stay. It caused some disruption, and unfortunately, we had to take quite a long detour just to reach our room. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it did take away from the overall convenience.
Would still recommend for the price, perks, and service — just worth checking ahead if maintenance is ongoing.

The hotel location is very convenient to public transport and lots of different restaurants nearby to choose from. There's also a restaurant and bar inside the hotel if you don't fancy going out. The place is very clean and tidy. The only thing I'm not so impressed with is the way the staff talk or interact with the guests. Not very friendly at all and no smiles. There was only one person that was really nice and I think he was the manager.

The room is really small. But either than that it is absolutely amazing. It is quiet, clean, both ac cold and hot air works. I have a good sleep in the hotel. Just a message, the TV will automatically on, so it is required to turn of the main TV button on the wall to ensure the TV is off.
*No water and kettle will be provided. While there is two huge coffee machines at the hotel entrance, where you can get paper cups, all kinds of teabags and coffee for you to drink in your room. So it is alright if you do not have a kettle*

My stay was from the 1st-3rd January 2025. I arrived London on the 31st of December for the NYE fireworks. I had called earlier to find out if i could drop off my bags a day ahead of my checkin and they were gracious enough to oblige. I dropped off my bags and headed to London Eye for the countdown, and a few other parties after the fireworks. I got back to the hotel at about 5:34am and the front desk personnel informed me that I could check in immediately instead of waiting till 2pm which was such a bliss!!!

Having stayed here a few times already we knew what it was going to be like. The rooms are nice enough but in need of a refurbishment. One thing that we have noticed is that even though the hotel is advertised as having airconditioning in the rooms, it hasnt worked in any of the rooms we have stayed in on the past 4 stays. I am presuming that it doesnt work in any rooms or we have just been really unlucky.
Breakfast is chaos. The dining area is too small for the number of rooms and the buffet doesnt get refilled very quickly which means people are waiting around. Its fine if you want to go for breakfast at 6.30am when it first opens but any time after 7am is extremely busy. The food is very average but standard for what you get at HI Express.
Reception staff are always really friendly and helpful. Beds are comfy and the wifi is great for streaming.

Very good hotel for a city trip, the service is perfect, from breakfast service to reception, the staff is very friendly, smiling and at our disposal with pleasure! The room is well equipped, the hotel is 2 minutes walk from the “Earl’s Court” metro station which serves many other stops.
Small negative point, room at -1, next to the breakfast room so very noisy in the morning due to the passage of guests, also the wifi connection as well as the telephone network was really bad.

GGuest UserI am satisfied with the location and the modern environment of the hotel itself (not the unreasonable tiny space of a standard double room - a pot 8sqm double room), but this is the worst hotel experience my family and I have ever had.
My mother is an old lady who is almost 70 years old. She fell down at the hotel entrance on the day we checked in. We noticed that the ground at the hotel entrance was designed with a ramp to facilitate access for disabled people who need to use wheelchairs, but there was a small gap and height difference between the entrance and the ramp, which caused my mother to fall very badly.
We booked the pot 8sqm double room for 4 nights in this hotel, the space was really incredibly small. The only thing I could thought of was to ask the hotel whether they could upgrade us to a slightly larger room to accommodate an injured elderly person, and the hotel catered our needs. The Front Office and Operations Manager Rax explained that due to the design of the hotel, the small rooms are on the floors above the ground, whilst the large rooms are in the basement of the hotel, so the only room we can move to is located in the basement of the hote, and we could only be able to move on the second day of our stayl. Although this statement is not very reasonable, the situation in the basement is acceptable.
The second unpleasant and terrifying experience was that I was taking a shower in the bathroom in the room while my mother was having coffee in the hotel lobby at night, and there was no one else in the room except me. While I was showering, the lights in the bathroom suddenly went out completely, while the water was still running normally. This was definitely the most horrible hotel experience ever. I was so flustered, trying so hard to find the water faucet in the dark and turn it off. Once I opened the glass door of the shower room, the lights came back on. I hurriedly finished my shower and went to the hotel front desk, I saw Rax and reported this issue to him.
From his reaction to me when he knew about this, I didn't feel that he had any empathy or sympathy for the terrible thing I had gone through. He explained that the hotel had a new motion sensor that would cause the lights in the room to turn off if there was no movement in the room. He even argued with me that it wasn't a big deal that the light went out during the shower.
I suggested that he could explain this new feature of their hotel to guests when they check in, so that if guests encounter a similar situation, at least they will feel less panicked. He told me that even if he knew it in advance, he would not feel better. I was really amazed by the responses as a Front Office and Operations Manager.
On the third day of our stay, when I was putting on makeup in the room and getting ready to go out, the alarm suddenly sounded. When we were trying to calm down from the unpleasant experiences we had encountered in just two days, suddenly these things that made us irritable and uneasy happened again, which really drive us crazy. I then met the Front Office Supervisor Asher at the lobby, he tried to understand our experiences patiently, and gave apologies on behalf of the hotel. He offered us free breakfast on the forth day morning which we did not ask for. Asher also talked to me sincerely, and that he would talk to the General Manager of the hotel about our case, and let the GM to have a talk with us too. I think this is the kind of attitude and crisis handling method a hotel employee should have.
Finally I want to say that although my family and I have been a member of the Marriott group for many years, we will no longer stay in any of their hotels and any type of accommodation.
GGuest User2 nights £440 we did expect it to be so much better. On arrival we couldn't get from the car park into the hotel as a traffice cone was in place of the lift meaning we had to walk all the way round and up a single vehicle ramp with 2 suite cases. Then at the desk we tell the receptionist of the problem , her reply was oh really... not sure if she understood english to be honest. Anyway we just want our room as we done a 3 hour drive and was meeting my daughter soon, the receptionist tells me i needed to pay.i told her it was all payed on the 13 may, she looked on the computer and told us again no payment had been made.
At this time im getting annoyed thinking ive be in some kind of scam. Some 10 minutes go by and im still being told i must pay and now my wife is saying i have made some mistake nowing full well i havent .so i go on line internet banking and bring up the payment have been made on the 13th. Receptionist then goes off for 5 minutes returning with a manager who went through another 5 minutes of faff and at last we can have our room and yes it had been payed. Go to our room which was nice and clean but the main table lamp light not working, not the end of the world so told the wife to get in the shower before me as we need to get a move on, ”guess what ” she said, there is no hot water ! . You cant be serious, but she was. I tell the maid innthe room few doors down and she called in to check and said i was right and that she would repot it. . Decided to give it half hour in hope it would change as we were pushed for time, so on our way out we went to the receptionist but this time the manager was on the desk, told her of the situation and she said with no hesitation we will have to move you . But everthing was unpacked and we were leaving to meet my daughter so would deal with it later on. This did put a damper on things one we met up at the restaurant and to be honest was thinking of moving to a different hotel....
Anyway the next morning our room had hot water as it should have. The breakfast was good although it should have more that one staff doing everything and more than one coffee machine and cueing took way too long meaning food was getting cold and wouldnt think about getting a refill. We would personally never stay againg or recommend anyone do so neither which is a shame as im a big fan of premier inns..
GGuest UserThe best thing about this hotel is its location/price ratio. You can get the pods (for a charge) to and from terminal 5 but it’s also easy to jump on buses to terminal 2+3. The bar restoring has great views of the runway and the rooms are fine although dates. Everything seems clean. Staff were nice.
GGuest UserAlthough the room was small it was comfortable with good quality linen and towels. Fairly limited TV channels, but tea & coffee facilities. I liked the offer of free drinks if you choose to forgo daily housekeeping. The location is very good....close to the Tube, restaurants, pubs, convenience stores and supermarkets. The only fault I can think of is I would have preferred there to be an in-room safe. I will definitely choose to stay here again.
AAnonymous UserStrategic location which is very near to the tube station (Bayswater), but this tube station has no lift, not convenient for those with big luggage.
The hotel room is quite small, the wall is also very thin, and you can listen to the noise from neighbours. The corridor is also very narrow.
Overall, it is a good stay for those who need a budget hotel and with easy access to tube station.
AAnonymous UserThis is a luxurious hotel with grand entrance and reception. Complimentary tea & coffee for guests in reception area. Free car parking on street & in well lit car park
The double room I booked was clean & tidy with en-suite shower room, with good facilities that met all my needs. Breakfast was included.
I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again, I recommend.
CChris134I'll give this hotel top whack, this time. Check-in is always very professional and the TV was working! My only regret is only booking one night as the breakfast is so good. I was in a bit of a hurry and wish I ate more!
I sadly had to complain about some seemingly disrespectul guests in the middle of the night but staff were helpful in sorting it for me.
The hotel is comfortable and very well stocked, for the price, and is right near Paddington plus some excellent restaurants (including the Italians on either side just up the road) so very convenient. I hope to book again some time (I thought my last stay was last year but it was in Feb 😂). Thanks!

GGuest UserWe arrived to Christmas dec’s 1st of all! Strange as 12 days of Xmas has passed!
Asked for both mine and my 16 year old sons passports and how we were related like what the hell! After telling us our room, I already felt like he was paying us to stay there rather us paying them!
As we’d paid £100 deposit aswell I honestly thought we were staying in a penthouse but as the stairs stairs creaked and creaked upstairs I just knew we were in for a noisy evening!
The curtains were held together by a hair grip, work going on outside which I know is out of their control but surely they would say just to be polite!
Had no sleep as people going up and down the stairs and they’re creaky as hell!
When we left, just yes leave your key, I’ve no clue if they’ve ever cracked a smile.
I won’t be staying there again.
Yes it’s cheap and close to the station but so dated , they’re rude and I’d rather pay that bit more for the service and comfort!

GGuest UserCheck in was okay. There is only one lift in the hotel which causes a lot of delay in getting to reception and the rooms. The underground hallways to the room and very narrow and dark and have a damp smell which is quite unpleasant or difficult to navigate as the the signage can be confusing to follow. Once you reach the rooms or ‘cocoon’ they are extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing with amazing moonlighting. The bed is large and there is a big mirror in the room and bathroom. Not much privacy if you’re sharing with friends as the bathroom is only separated by frosted glass. Overall an okay stay for a quick rest
BBehekEverything was very good. Breakfast offers a lot of coice - except warm breakfast is only on Weekends. On the Trip site the check in time is incorrect (ov voucher it says after 12, but it is after 14) - despite us coming too early, they gave us the room and made coffee for free. The hotel is locked over night and the staff is really friendly. We were in the hotel trought the hottest days in history but they prepared a ventilator - because they don't have AC (normally).
