Amazing
MM271667****The room is very nice, Jessi at the reception is super helpful! She arranged shuttle bus for us to old town, booked spa downstairs and we had enjoyed a welcome afternoon tea with some traditional Vietnamese cakes, it’s such a great experience to try local desserts. What’s more, the breakfast in here is so amazingly good I can say the quality is the best in the trip even comparing to those 5 stars hotels in town! The spa and two pools are nice! We had 60 mins oil massage with a very reasonable price! Tina, Sam and VY are taking care of the family and the service is just amazing! We had a wonderful trip experience with staying in this hotel and we will definitely come visit again for the good services, nice food and hotel room :)
CChristopher AlvinAn impressive experience with an excellent hotel. The room was wonderful, clean and luxurious with a plentiful supply of green tea and Vietnamese coffee. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower and bathroom were marvelous and the view of the river particularly good at sunset. The only problem was being opposite the lift so there was occasional corridor noise.
The breakfast was outstanding with great choice of Western and Vietnamese styles. All was fresh, especially the pastries and fruit. There were chefs waiting to take orders for dishes such as Omelettes, Eggs Benedict, Scrambled Eggs, Pho and Noodle Soups.
The location of the hotel is perfect as it is on th4 edge of How An with a short walk to the fields and river but also only a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town and night market area.
The staff were incredibly good. They are all very friendly, always greeting em by name and aware of the particulars of my stay. When I arrived late at night, the receptionist had arranged for the air conditioning to be turned on in my room prior to arrival which was very welcome. Whatever I required to help my stay, the reception helped and provided. When I left in the early morning, they unexpectedly offered to provide a breakfast box and cup of tea for my drive to the airport. They are really lovely people as one always finds in Vietnam. This hotel is highly recommended.
TTRINH BAOThe hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short walk from Hoi An Ancient Town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and exploring local cafes. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. However, the service felt a bit impersonal and the amenities were rather basic, leaving some room for improvement. Overall, a pleasant stay mainly thanks to the location.

Great
AArcherName774The staff is incredibly friendly and talkative in a good way. The room is decent, but my view was just to the street. I enjoyed the lemongrass smell in the room. The bathroom is good, tap water doesn't stink and the water is hot. In my room the drainage could be cleaned. Unfortunately because there were few people in the hotel the breakfast was not a buffet: I was asked to order from the menu, the food quality was mediocre (juice was freshly made, mi quang was not good, ”cheese” was just that kind of sliced cheese they use for burgers, an omelette was good), but variety and quantity is decent. The service during breakfast was great and I felt welcomed
KKatie432It was an absolute pleasure to stay at the Maison Vy Hotel. Staff were amazing and breakfast was delicious. They let us use the pushbikes to get into town which was about 1km away. Only thing I didn’t like was the lack of a lift and our room was on the top floor. Highly recommend
GGuest UserI've spent 2 weeks in that hotel. I don't know whether it's considered boutique, but it had all I needed. The kitchen is nice and the staff is polite and eager to help you even if you have special requests. Free bicycles and vouchers to a nice beach club with an infinity pool is also a very cool feature. You can get both to the beach and old town by bicycle in 15/5 minutes. There are also roads with no bikes running through the picturesque rice fields with bulls and birdies. The staff was very polite even though my Russian face wasn't. What could be enhanced:
1. Repair the gym. It's in a bad condition. You need more bars and weights and to maintain the current machine.
2. Do the renovations in a low season, don't make noise, tourists like me hate the noise.
3. Tell the staff not to knock/wake up guests before 10:00 if they didn't ask to. Tourists get up late, not at 4 like Vietnamese.
4. Enhance the process of renting a bike so that it would be faster. Rither place the box with all keys from the bicycles right next to them or give out the keys at reception and make sure that bicycles are not locked with a chain lock from 7.00 till 23.00
5. Control the noise level, no one should shout and make noises in general and after 21:00 especially.
AAnonymous UserI loved the staff here. I was treated the way I expect to be treated at a 5 star hotel. Staff was very friendly with everything and were always smiling. I booked a hot stone massage which was buy 1 get 1 and that was great. I did originally book a Canal view room, but I’m glad I did not receive it because it faced the busy street so I was much more happy being on the quieter side of the hotel. The hotel is in people’s backyards so you will hear roosters and chickens if you are not facing the street. For the most part, the room was pretty quiet on my last day and it has some louder guest that I could hear in the hallway and next-door to me but all my other days it was nice and peaceful. They supply so many amenities from bathrobes slides, toothbrushes drinks, and the mini fridge etc. Every time I would come back from visiting old town, I would be greeted at the door with a welcome back. if I ever visit Hoi an again, Little gem will be the only place I stay. grab is really easy to use from the hotel. I did not take advantage of the bicycles as I do not trust myself on them but they are available. It was too cold to use the pool as it is not heated, but it is a nice view from the top floor. get the lamb. You will not be disappointed. Spend the little bit extra and treat yourself at little gem
TTobias TA Convenient and Comfortable Stay in Hoi An, Vietnam
I recently stayed at the Tran Family Hostel in Hoi An, Vietnam, and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in organizing trips to My Son and Hue, which went smoothly without any issues. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor swimming pool.
The location of the Tran Family Hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it extremely convenient for exploring the vibrant streets of Hoi An. The hostel's proximity to various attractions, markets, and restaurants allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local atmosphere.
The rooms at the Tran Family Hostel are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests. The highlight was the super comfy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness and upkeep of the accommodation were also commendable.
One of my favorite amenities at the Tran Family Hostel was the outdoor swimming pool. It provided the perfect spot to unwind and cool off during hot Vietnamese afternoons. The pool area was well-maintained and added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay.
All in all, my time at the Tran Family Hostel was fantastic. The staff's assistance in organizing trips to My Son and Hue ensured a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. The convenient location, modern rooms, and comfy bed added to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend the Tran Family Hostel to fellow travelers visiting Hoi An.
Hhellojane79I stayed here for two nights during my trip. It was a ridiculously affordable price, including breakfast, so I had a comfortable stay. Everyone was incredibly friendly. The location was a bit tricky, but it was great value for money, so I have no regrets. The pool, while small, was beautiful. We were busy so we couldn't use it, but I'd love to try it next time.
My child's rabbit stuffed animal went missing from the room. ㅠㅠ I played with it on the bed until the next morning, then left it at the room. When I went out, it wasn't there anymore. I asked several times, but couldn't find it. My child was very sad, so it was a bit difficult. ㅠㅠ
