"Very clean hotel, well decorated, comfortable bedding. Very well located, not even 10 minutes walk from the French Quarter and the Mississippi. Close to amenities, plenty of restaurants and breakfast nearby. Very warm welcome, pleasant staff. I highly recommend!"

"Got a room at first where the AC was super loud and there wasn’t even a closet or a place to hang clothes. I told the front desk but they said the hotel was full and couldn’t do anything !!! So I contacted IHG directly and I got a new one was much better — quiet AC and a proper closet. FYI: floors 9–10 seem to have some kind of machine room inf front the room X01 . The noise could be heard all the floor to room 906. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to avoid this hotel."

"The hotel lobby is grand, but the room is older and slightly smaller than expected. Overall, the Marriott brand is a bit below expectations. The location is perfect, very close to the French quarter. If it's an event day, the soundproofing isn't perfect."

"Excellent price, chic location. Clean clean every day. But the hotel is very strange, the room has no refrigerator (no refrigerator at all), had to ask the recipe to pick up the medicines that require storage in the refrigerator. There is no safe, there are no closets (instead of a pair of hangers on the wall). There is no sink in the toilet, the sink is in the room with the bed. At the same time there is a lot of room in the toilet, quietly would be placed there."

"The hotel itself is fine and the location is excellent, but we had several awful service experiences. First, the king bed room we booked was not available when we check in, so they put us in a double bed room and said they would move us the next day. Then when we went to the front desk to move to our new room, the person at the front desk was not friendly and was taking so long to handle our situation. We were worried we would be late for our tour, so we asked if we could leave and they could move our luggage to the new room. She said no, we can't change rooms until we are ready to move the luggage ourselves, and that our luggage would stay in the old room. When we came back later that day, they moved us to our new room but our luggage was not in our old room or the new room! We were so worried they lost our luggage. Finally they figured out that they moved our luggage to a 3rd room, and they tried to blame us for it. All of these interactions took a long time because the front desk was so slow and the line was long. After all that trouble, they only gave us a meager $25 credit as an apology. Lastly, we accidentally left a small pouch of personal items in our first room and when we told them about this, they made no effort to try and find it. When we checked out, we also left a souvenir we had bought in the room accidentally. We tried calling the hotel to see if they could find the missing item and ship it to us. We waited on hold for a long time before the front desk transferred us to the wrong place, the automated reservations agent. So frustrating! It is clear the staff there do not communicate between shifts or departments and just don't care about treating their guests well. Simple things like contacting the lost and found about a missing item should not be this difficult. The only good staff interactions we had were with the interns who were there on a training program. Also the wifi is not free. How are big hotels like this getting away with charging for wifi in 2025? Tl;dr: staff are not helpful at all, their communication is awful. Wifi not free"
