Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean room and common areas. The only reason I gave a 4/5 on facilities is because I don't think we should have had to pay $25 to park in the hotel parking garage!

Our room was perfect. We got upgraded to a suite with a balcony on Bourbon Street and we felt like we were able to be part of the crowds on the street without actually having to be in the crowds. You definitely get the Bourbon Street experience. I will admit it was not the quietest hotel we have stayed in but you should know that going in, if you are booking on Bourbon Street. It wasn't enough to interrupt us from sleeping or watching tv, it was just noise.

Our family spent two nights at the Bourbon Hotel (October 10-12). We read the reviews and were expecting an upscale hotel experience. We travel very often in the US and around the world, in all types of hotels-from basic 3 starts accommodations to luxury resorts. We do not go to hotels unless we verify recommendations and find the best fit. At most, the reviews are accurate. At times, slightly non-representing, nevertheless, we realize that it is a matter of taste. However, it is rare that an experience is so far fetched from the positive review that I had to write one myself (I very rarely do). From the moment we entered, it was a clear that we are entering a once glamorous venue which was not maintained, not clean with an atmosphere in lobby as if we entered a train station and not a hotel. The room itself was also filthy, with toe nails under our bed, hair in the closet and dust in the room. There was no soap, and housekeeping did not clean at all the following morning. The door to the balcony does not close properly and therefore it is very noisy. The empty mini bar was more of a heater than a cooler. During the whole duration of our stay, the same garbage items were not removed from the elevator and others not cleaned in lobby. When we attempted to order room service as stated on the hotel website, we were told that “we no longer deliver food to room” with no apology given. When we went to try our luck at the breakfast buffet, we were told “we no longer offer it”. We were fine with a-la-carte but then we found out that they only offer bar seating and no high chair was provided for our daughter. Again, with no apology. They were filming a series outside of the hotel, which by itself is a cool thing, but not when it makes the hotel a production room, filthy, messy, noisy and again-the hotel does not acknowledge it. The worst moment was when we needed to wait 15 minutes in the heat to get back to the hotel as the small street was closed for filming. Again, no apology given. When we needed the front desk supervisor’s assistance in a billing matter concerning tax, we were dismissed in the most vulgar and not-service-oriented manner, despite the fact that they clearly did not follow State and Federal Law. We tried to explain the issue but again, there was a total lack of willingness to listen. Bottom line, this hotel is a disgrace. Maybe years ago it deserved 4 stars, today it is a mediocre youth hostel that charges like a luxury hotel. Avoid.

Check in at 4 pm, early check-in for 25 dollars, Ctrip's so-called garden view room has only a small window, the window is a wall, the room is very dark, change the room for 25 dollars, parking 38 dollars, plus breakfast, a total of 220 dollars a night . Bourbon Street has all gone back and forth 3 kilometers. Breakfast is typical of American style, egg sausages. No extra bed, sofa bed and extra bedding.

Conveniently located in the heart of the French Quarter in Orléans. It is the parking to be handed over to the doorman and parked in the far away garage. Going on Thanksgiving, there are too many people to stay. Breakfast was eaten at the French street outside the French street, cheap and delicious. The photo is the restaurant on the French street next to it, the breakfast is good.

The reception staff and Bell Man were beyond lovely. My wine unfortunately smashed in my suitcase and they went beyond the call of duty to help make sure everything was dry and clean in time for my flight. They also gave some really useful tips for restaurants in the vicinity when I checked in! Creole House is very near and delicious. I liked the location of this hotel, you could walk to most of the main attractions bourbon street ect but also easy to get an uber too at night time or if it was too hot!

#positive #I was happy with the Nearby Activities, Mosquito Control Measures, Bed Comfort Level, Corridor Soundproofing, Safety, Soundproofing; Overall it is good, especially the location of the hotel. It is a quarter of an hour's walk from the Morial venue, and next to it is a green square. It is very easy to find on Google Maps. It is just on St Charles Street, and you can take a tram for sightseeing diagonally opposite. Tulane University is on this line, and there are world-class immersive museums, World War II museums, which can be visited by tram. Very convenient. There is a sushi under the Intercontinental Hotel across the street from the hotel, which is delicious and not expensive. Let's talk about the hotel itself, you have to pay more than 40 knives in tax and a 100 knives deposit to enter the store. The extra-large city view room, with the street view of the city on both sides, is worth the price. Prices tripled during the meeting. On the first day, I found that the shower was broken, and it was quick to call for repairs, but the workers' English was not good, so it took a little time. After repair it works fine. Except for this bug, everything is OK. By the way, let me tell you those who are preparing for the New Olympics trip, the airport express bus 202, 1.25 US dollars, walks a quarter of an hour from the hotel, and drives directly to the gate of Armstrong Airport, the first bus at 4:10.

Outstanding
KKseniia KoshevaiaWe recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Peter and Paul in New Orleans and overall, it was a delightful experience. The interior of the hotel exudes a captivating charm, blending historic architecture with modern comfort seamlessly. The attention to detail in the design adds a unique touch to the ambiance.
The service at Hôtel Peter and Paul was exceptional, with a staff that was attentive and friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether it was providing local recommendations or promptly addressing any concerns, the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction was evident.
While the overall experience was positive, I did encounter a minor hiccup with the housekeeping service. It wasn't as thorough as I would have expected, and some details were overlooked. However, this didn't overshadow the other positive aspects of the stay.
In conclusion, Hôtel Peter and Paul offers a charming and unique retreat in the heart of New Orleans. The impressive interior and outstanding service make it a memorable choice for those seeking a distinctive and comfortable stay in this vibrant city.
GGuest UserTruly enjoyed the room and location. Not right where all the action is but I appreciated that distance from the crowd.
Got a king room came with good tv service and full kitchen on the 12th floor. Staff was nice at front desk. Didn’t need them much after check in.
Was able to leave luggage at hotel after check out. Recommended
LLIUYANThe location of the hotel is good, the room is super clean and tidy, the whole hotel is in line with five points, why I didn't give five points just because the location of my room is not so good, facing the roof full of a lot of air conditioners

GGuest UserThe hotel is located directly on Mississipsi and you are on the next street block in the Frenchquater without then hear the permanent sound from there in the room at night. The reception is in the 11. Stock and you have to always change the denb driving chair on the way to the room, which is something hidden around the corner, but you will get used to it quickly. The breakfast is very good, we had also a dinner there, that is probably much better in a restaurant around the corner. The area for meetings is OK, which is partly noisy air conditioning cannot be placed in the rooms. My room was large, clean, well furnished. The room service did not clean at 2 nights per day, perhaps it was simply forgotten. I had the adapter for American. Unfortunately, the hotel cannot help, I expected you to borrow a adapter or buy a cheap one. After all, one knew a store in 10 minutes away, where I could actually buy one. All hotel staff were friendly and seemed committed. I would take the hotel again, you have a great view of Mississippi and town if the room is on the right side.
RRuskinWe booked the hotel seeing that it had 4 stars, there was a pool and the amenities list said there was an oven and microwave for the room. I can tell you that when we got there we were definitely surprised and not in a good way. The pool was closed even though they put a sign on the door thanking people for staying 6 ft apart. I don’t understand how you can be 6 ft apart if you can’t even go into the pool area, let alone the pool itself. Another reason we were extremely unhappy was because we had brought frozen food expecting to be able to heat it up and there was no oven, nor a microwave in the room. For a 4 star hotel that is ridiculous! Additionally, the hotel was doing some COVID-19 relief programs which in retrospect is very nice of them due to the fact that New Orleans is a poor area, but they did not let us know about it when we booked the room and the outside the hotel was full of homeless people and others just sitting around smoking and drinking by both doors outside and roaming throughout the lobby. My husband and I were very displeased and even though the hotel was giving them food and water, they created a place where anyone could have definitely caught the virus if they aren’t careful enough or if anyone walking in had it. If we ever go back to New Orleans, we will not be staying there.
Ssdgirl077675I'm trying to be optimistic by giving this property an ”Average” rating, but unfortunately my review is going to be very reminiscent of the other latest review on this hotel. While I think it's commendable that the hotel is willing to help displaced people (possibly from the most recent hurricane), it would have been nice to know ahead of time. as we would have chosen a different option to stay at. Typically Hampton Inns are consistent in their atmosphere and reputation, but with the questionable people loitering in and around the property, it just wasn't an experience we were willing to pay for. In addition, because of all these people who were temporarily living at the hotel (possibly through FEMA or the Red Cross), their cars stayed parked in the hotel's parking garage all the time. This left absolutely no room for our car. When I asked the front desk gal abut other possible parking options, she stated that unfortunately there wasn't any additional parking associated with the property, so she said we were on our own as far as finding a spot wherever we could, even if it was a mile or more away. Long story short, we felt like we couldn't leave the hotel if we actually found a spot to park in, for fear of not having one when we came back (in addition, let me tell you, you need some mad parking skills to maneuver though this parking garage). Finally, seeing people walking around with their alcohol throughout the garage was unsettling too. We were supposed to stay at the hotel 4 nights, but decided to check out early and move to another propertyl due to questionable people staying in and around the building/parking lot, but most of all because of the lack of parking options for a paying guest. I feel for the hotel staff because I'm guessing the entire situation is out of their hands, but as far as it being the Hampton Inn experience you're used to, it is not (at least not right now).
GGuest UserI was in town for a conference. I like mid-range hotels like Holiday Inn Express because you tend to get more complementary stuff, like breakfast and WiFi, and this was no exception. There are many positives: from here you are within easy walking distance to Bourbon Street and the CBD (Central Business District for us non-locals). It's a bit of a stretch to walk to the convention center (where I needed to be on a daily basis) or Frenchmen's street (less crowded than Bourbon, with different if not better character and music). I think I met half the Lyft drivers in NOLA, though got plenty of steps in too. There are a couple of restaurants nearby; I frequented Walk-Ons, a franchise but one that has local fare too. I had a room RIGHT next to the elevator. My first reaction was YES! I never get a short walk to the elevator! My second reaction was - $#!^ - I'm not going to be sleeping much with partiers coming off that same elevator. My fears were unfounded. The bed was plenty comfortable, the room was quiet, and I slept well. I only interacted with staff on a few occasions, but these were all positive. If you get hungry or need a drink or sundries, they have a ”Market” with assorted goods for purchase. They also have a business center (with a printer) that I did not use. I did not have housekeeping my entire four-night stay. This seems to be industry standard. You can request housekeeping, but it was just me, and I can live in my modest mess for a few days. It is my custom to include a report for traveling athletes. Swimming is a problem at this location. They have an indoor pool that is slightly larger than a bathtub. There are four local regional pools (closest being Gat Town Natatorium and Treme Recreational Community Center), but I struck out completely - all 4 were closed on the day I had planned to swim, one I found out by a failed Lyft ride to a closed community center. My suggestion is to CALL before you go, and if they don't answer, that probably means they are not there (even if the website says they are open... grr). For running, there are some treadmills at the hotel's fitness center that I did not use. About a half-mile away from the hotel is the Lafitte Greenway (look for the St. Louis Cemetary at Basin Street for the trailhead). It is 2.6 miles of paved trail for bikers, walkers, and runners. It felt safe (enough). There are several cross-streets, the more dangerous with stop signs and less dangerous with yield signs. I rarely needed to stop for traffic, and most drivers with polite, some even stopping when they did not have to so I could continue my run. A message from Captain Obvious: New Orleans is hot and humid. Avoid planning a run that will outlast your hydration. Back to the hotel. A couple of areas for improvement. The front desk was usually but not always staffed. It was not a problem for me directly, but I saw someone trying to get checked in with nobody to help him. The front door gets locked at 10 PM - or 9 PM - or

GGuest UserThis was a stop over as our train stopped for the night in New Orleans and was to leave out in the morning. We arrived very late as our train had been delayed and staff was very helpful in getting us checked in. The room was quite comfortable. It had a refrigerator but no microwave which we would have greatly appreciated. We had to be up early to catch our train and we were unable to have a hot breakfast due to the lack of the microwave. Other than that, everything was fine. Hope to come back when we can stay longer.
GGuest UserMy husband and I stayed for 6 nights for an anniversary trip we took to New Orleans We loved it. The property was beautiful. And the room was spotless. Housekeeping supplied us with plenty of towels and an extra blanket when I felt cold. The bad was very comfortable but kind of hard to get in and out if due to us being very short The only weird thing about our room as the half a shower door. There was a glass door but only on one half and every time I showered I made a mess. There is an onsite breakfast. The coffee is complimentary but the breakfast is 15. We enjoyed making our own waffles so much we went twice. The young man who was staffing the breakfast on Tuesday was the best server I had my entire trip and the waffles were amazing. If I return to new Orleans I will definitely return to the Madison St charles
KKevin SI stayed at this hotel about 2 weeks ago just as COVID-19 restrictions were beginning to ease. I was still quite worried about cleanliness and social distancing. Fortunately, my concerns were quickly put to rest upon arriving at this hotel. The whole hotel seems to have been freshly renovated. It even has the faint smell of fresh paint & cleanser. The hotel is modest and tidy. My room seemed as if I were perhaps the first person to stay in it post-renovation. I was relived and relaxed in my room. I opted to take an Uber to the French Quarter two miles down the road. It cost me exactly $8 although there is apparently a bus right next to the hotel that would have taken me for $1.25. It's a cheap, clean, freshly renovated, no thrills sorta place which was perfect for me. I didn't spend an abundance of time in my room because I was too busy exploring the fabulous city
