Basic hotel with amenities like disposable slippers, tooth brushes & pastes, hot/cold shower functioned, body soap dispenser in shower, hand & bath towels provided - 1 set of towels was thick & fluffy which the other set was thin & greyish, bidet, hair dryer, kettle, coffee & condiments, bottled water, cold aircon, clear TV images in all SG and local channels, comfy bed and pillows. The only setbacks are no safe deposit box in room, fingerprints stained glass table and sticky floor. Relatively clean and not for OCD guests. However cleanliness could improve. Best of all, love the strategic location. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants, pubs and massage and non-halal food is easily available within the vicinity. There was a pub just opposite at the end of the block playing loud live music every night but I didn’t hear anything. It was all quiet in my room and I slept soundly. Sutera Mall is just 5 mins away by foot. Didn’t try the spa within the hotel because I prefer full fledged massage. Highly recommend this hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff is very welcoming and helpfull. Thank you to Executive Puan Sarimah Sapwi on your kind helpfull. I was here attending company training. What I want to say is it the ballroom is very spacious and comfort. The room ia a sound proof. The food is very good and deliciuos. It is variety and very tastefully. The High tea also very good especially a mee goreng mamak. Overal is very good.

AalfredokeeMy second stayed here and breakfast is included if booked directly online. The receptionist and staff are helpful and friendly. The facilities are very complete. Room as per picture .. fast check in/out. Bed are very comfortable. Everything is worth and nice. 24-hrs Indian Muslim food just opposite the hotel. Perfect location. Nearby to Paradigm Mall & Sutera Mall JB. 5 stars facilities with 2 stars price. The room is cosy and very clean. Parking is limited but easy to find behind or surrounding the hotel. A decent buffet style breakfast consists of noodles/nasi lemak, sausages, nuggets, bread with jam & butter, half-boiled eggs, juices, coffee & tea. Better than what I expected. Definitely will stay in this hotel again for my next business trip here! I will return to this hotel for future stay. The location of the hotel is superb, just a ten minute walk away bars and restaurants a plenty, what makes it so special is the way they make you feel very welcome, from cleaning staff, and receptionists a really great team. However, you would be able to hear noise from the street. If you are sensitive to noise or prefer soundproof, suggest to booked the windowless room.

GGuest UserI was pleasantly surprised to come across The Point Boutique Hotel while scrolling Agoda for accommodation for a 2D1N staycation in JB. It turned out to be even better than expected. The staff were friendly, professional, thoughtful and made us feel at home and welcome. Special mention to Devi and Geo who assisted us throughout our stay. The lobby immediately gave a feel of serenity and cleanliness, professionalism. We took a family room with one queen bed and one single bed. The layout of the room made it feel like a mini studio - it did not feel squeezy at all. I appreciated the unique furnishings and little but important details. For instance: 1) room window could be opened for ventilation. 2) window blinds were clean and could be adjusted. 3) bathroom was large and well organised. It had an air fan to keep the air flowing and floor dry. Bathroom also had a window which helped with ventilation. 4) Loved the rain shower. Water pressure and temperature were adjustable. Though there was no shower curtain, the layout of the bathroom ensured that other areas would not get wet at all. The tiles of the bathroom were the non slip kind as well so that was great as I was traveling with my dad in his early 70s. They also provided very thick hotel standard bathroom floor mat and bathing towels. 5) Toiletries were on point, neat and sufficient. Toothbrush was sealed. Appreciated them putting glass cups in the bathroom for usage. My only complaint was that the toothpaste was a bit too mild tasting and not very effective. 6) The bed was big and comfortable. There were also bed side lights which operated by sensor system- very nice touch and modern. The bedside also had power sockets for easy charging of phone. This was very thoughtful and attentive. 7) Water kettle, bottled water, tea/coffee sachets are all wonderful thoughtful amenities. Painting in room also modern, tasteful, classy. 8) Mirrors in room and towel rack are also attentive and well thought through touches !

DDoreen TooI booked Executive King Room based on the reviews online. However I was very disappointed with the following:
1) The access door card denied me twice. I have to go to the reception twice to sort it out. Apparently they programmed different room number for my room.
2) The water for the shower leaked from the water pipe instead of came out from the shower head. The pressure was so low that I gave up to wash my hair.
3) There were hairs in the bathroom. Cleanliness need to be improved.
4) Whole night I can hear loud music from the bars nearby. Poor sound proofing as every now and then hear guests closing doors.
Honestly, I really think it didn't deceived the high rating. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

CcynfulaquariusChecked in very late during midnight, got a room 307. 1) Aircon is very dirty thus not cooling at all. Thinking is a small Budget hotel with the price point so I’m still ok... 2) no pillow case on the pillows & to make things worse, the pillows are extremely dirty!!! (See photos), went down to front desk lady ask for pillow case, she said no more pillow case! (A hotel run out of a very basic pillow case? unbelievable!) That’s it, no apology, no solution offered. I have stayed in many budget hotel in Johor Bahru but this is surely the worst experience! Will never stay in this hotel or any of their other branches. Ps: I’m writing this review lying on the dirty pillow wrapped with towel at 3:30am...

GGuest UserReally like the hotel. Affortable, clean room, and good location with eateries. The room really comfort their guess. Provided good aminities which not many boutique provided as redpine provided. Tv really clear and sufficient channel. Overall room i rated 4/5 Reason i booked at the hotel as it near to the Stadium and JdT provide free shuttle to the stadium. If im not wrong its the only hotel have at the area where shuttle bus provided. What make me mad and give low rating is during check out i was treated REALLY REALLY REALLY RUDE BY the receptionist. When i approached the counter the staff seem didnt like me as im interupting while he was doing his work. Then rudely he ask my room number and then without saying anything and didnt looked at me he return my deposit. Then i just walk away dont want to cause any trouble. ( not all the staff behave this way, check in staff was ok and i guess overnight staff finish work greeted me when she exit the hotel) sorry this is the worst hotel staff that i experience in my entired life. Cant accept rudness so hotel staff i rated 1/10... Will i come back? Definately as the hotel provided good room and surrounding... i just hoping didnt get attended by the same rude staff on my nexr visit to the hotel

8805sylvias805Good room rates with reasonable quality in an old neighbourhood with many great local restaurants. Very comfortable bed linen and very clean. Free coffee, tea, water and snacks. Fast Wifi most importantly. Convenient in and out! High recommended!
