Spa Hotels in Yangshuo

"Room was very clean, and toilet and shower were separate. Smoking was apparently permitted in rooms despite my request for a non-smoking room, but there was no smoke smell in the room and it was well ventilated with the attached balcony which faced the river and had pretty views. I had issues with the electricity tripping, but the front desk resolved this very quickly by giving me a card specifically for the power outlet in my room. The hotel had washers and dryers for clothes free to use for all guests and even an area with hangers and poles to air dry your laundry, but the time I was there, there were many insects at night (the hotel did put a warning sign at the door). The laundry also apparently closes at 11pm but I did not notice this until I was done with my laundry at 1am. The caretaker who did the evening rounds also did not chase me away and let me use the area until I completed my laundry. The hotel was located near the Longtoushan pier where the Li River Cruises end and disembark. It’s supposedly a 3-5-min walk from the pier to the hotel, but the area tends to be very crowded as all the cruises tend to arrive together (~1.30-2pm). The stretch of pavement from the pier to the street is also very bumpy and not luggage-friendly, but you may contact the hotel to fetch you with a buggy but they tend to be too busy to accommodate at that time too. Apart from this timing, the street is generally very quiet. If walking at night, i would recommend bringing a torch light as the street is very dark. It’s also a 10-15min walk away from Xijie (west street) where there are many food options and souvenirs. The hotel has an attached cafe and restaurant too if you just want to chill in the afternoon. It’s a little pricey for this area but overall a good and comfortable stay! The rooftop also has very pretty views of the mountains and the river, and a great place for some quiet time in the morning!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, even at late hours. The location is very close to a couple of the main attractions in the area and being used to a cooler climate we really appreciated the fast cooling A/C. The covered trip to Xi Street is a nice touch as well, as it was a solid night time activity."

"The trip has been amazing. Room is super clean, breakfast is very tasty and not crowded, even dinner inside hotel is tasty and healthy.   Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Lucy at reception has always been there for us, help us with planning our itineraries. View from the room is also stunning. Hotel is conveniently located, 10 mins taxi ride from town center."

"The front desk staffs/owner are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is a little off West Street, but manageable distance. The highlight of this hotel is the rooftop, it has a beautiful view. We also like it for a fact that there are many stalls nearby selling fresh fruits. All and all, we had a good stay."

"We enjoyed our 2 nites stay alot. Room very big and spacious. The rooms come with all bathrooms. Very clean and comfortable. The location very good.. Foods and shop every where. The recep 丘小姐 very helpful. Helped us alot. But thr bresdfast very limited. Not to our likings. The food not suitable to us.. Haha"

"Good and quick service. Good location. The room is clean. Like the free self service laundry. Prefer the toilet and the shower in one room instead of in two separate rooms. Overall, I am happy with the stay in the his hotel."

"Beautiful hotel, very big spacious and modern rooms, and very conveniently located. Not in the middle to the noisy buzz, but from the hotel you can reach anywhere within 10-15 minutes Didi or eletric bike ride (we rented the e-bike every day of our stay and it was definitely worth it). Breakfast was also good. Staff was attentious, though they don’t really speak English. But they always tried to help. I would definitely recommend Muye Mountain Villa to other travellers. Ps- the best restaurant we went in town is merely a 4 minute bike ride away, it is called Pica Pica and is gorgeous and the fish was spetacular."

"The hotel facade was not as expected but the room was comfortable, very spacious and the service is very good! We were initially given a low floor room with obstructed views and requested for a higher room. The guest service was very accommodating and moved us up to another room which cost lesser and given us a refund for the difference. Love the small freebies like ginger tea, which was so good for the cold weather."

"Booking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions."

"Amazing stay! The hotel is beautiful! Front entrance and lobby is really nice and big. The hotel is brand new so everything is clean and new. We had a balcony view and it was great. There was free afternoon tea for us. There’s also a laundry room. Staff was super friendly and nice. They also gave us a complimentary goodbye gift with candy and a cup as we checked out! Overall definitely recommend this spot as it’s also close to Yangshuo West street (10-15 min) walking"
