"Fantastic hotel, with beautiful courtyard for relaxing and evening (or daytime) drinks. Staff are great, can speak English and share sightseeing ideas for the area. We rented a scooter for 50rmb per day which allowed us to explore freely. The bedroom is comfortable and has everything you’d need. Water & towels were refreshed daily. I had trouble with the pillows (memory foam), due to my pillow preference, I asked for a second pillow which hotel staff happily gave me. Food is tasty and reasonable price. Recommending to friends!"

"Very cool hotel, located remotely in a quiet place, with a view of the mountains, for its price 10/10, to relax the soul and body is what you need. I really liked that the room is spacious, high ceilings. Chinese breakfast is included: chicken soup, egg and a glass of milk - very tasty."

"The Riverview is a fantastic hotel to stay in Yangshuo! Located very close to Longtoushan wharf, it's very easy to get to if you come to Yangshuo via the cruise. The staff are very helpful, they gave me all the resources I needed during my stay, and were able to be contacted at any point via WeChat. The room was lovely, a comfortable bed and a fantastic view from the balcony! I'd definitely recommend the Riverview to anyone staying in Yangshuo."

"The hotel boasts a truly exceptional location, directly facing the Li River, with easy access to the riverbank just across the street. The three-story building is beautifully designed. Its layout features sections with around forty rooms arranged in a U-shape surrounding a central garden. The corridors, with one side overlooking this garden, are particularly striking, adorned with artistic paintwork and original, handcrafted paintings by the same artist, not mass-produced prints. The rooms show signs of heavy use, which likely means the hotel is almost always fully booked. The complimentary local snacks were a nice touch. The fourth floor boasts a bar with a terrace, and the fifth floor houses a laundry room and a basic gym. My child even spent some time playing up there. The entire property is adorned with thoughtfully arranged and beautifully maintained plants, and the gardens are also impeccably cared for. I went up to the rooftop at 6 AM, hoping to catch the sunrise, but it was unfortunately obstructed by the mountains, though I could still appreciate the early morning light and view. Overall, I'd give this hotel an 8.8 out of 10. While breakfast was average, the design is fantastic, the soft furnishings are nice, and the greenery is exceptionally well done. The physical facilities, however, are quite standard. I made two requests regarding the room and hope they can be updated by my next visit. The hotel is consistently popular and often fully booked, so make sure to reserve well in advance."

"I believe this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in China and I am a frequent traveler. I have stayed with my friend in the 270 degree panorama family room and the view of the mountains was stunning! Almost surreal! The service was top-notch and the employees were super responsive via a WeChat group chat. We want to thank especially Xiao Xu and Li Xiao for their assistance as well as Xiao Zeng for the fun photo shoot in the hotel area. I have never experienced anything alike and I wish we had stayed even longer. The accomodation included a breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, evening snack, mini bar, fruits, 30min photo shoot. Everything was sooo great."

"A very satisfying trip. The store contacted the navigation system in advance, helped me with my luggage, and booked the bamboo rafting tickets. They were very enthusiastic! The location of the store is also very close to the pier, just a few steps away, and the scenery is very beautiful! The room environment is also very good, and delicious food was given to us when we left. It is very suitable for a family trip. We will come again next time! It is true that Guilin's landscape is the best in the world, and Yangshuo's landscape is the best in Guilin."

"Huge thanks to the hotel and all the amazing staff — everything was simply perfect, no complaints at all! The ladies at reception were so kind and welcoming. All the tours they recommended were great, and our guide Vivian was fantastic. Renting e-bikes from the hotel was a great idea, and the rooms were clean, beautiful, and very comfortable.Big thanks to the restaurant team and the cook — the food was delicious and beautifully served. The waitresses were sweet, very kind and made us feel truly welcome. I also want to thank the cook for kindly changing my side dish from French fries and salad to grilled vegetables — it was one of the best!"

"As a guesthouse, their personal touch and hospitality were truly exceptional. From calling for directions after getting off the high-speed train, to advising on sightseeing routes, and even helping us find a hospital when our child was unwell – every request was met with warmth, thoughtfulness, and incredible friendliness. The guesthouse is located at one end of West Street, just a 3-4 minute walk away. It's perfectly convenient, yet far enough from the main tourist hustle and bustle to offer a peaceful stay. When I mentioned that our room felt a bit humid, they promptly arranged for us to move to another available room first thing the next morning. The optional breakfast was a delightful home-style Chinese meal, featuring congee, noodles, soy milk, and whole-grain buns. The auntie who served it was so warm and welcoming. Simple but delicious! Our entire stay felt like catching up with old friends on a journey."
