What an amazing vacation! From the moment we arrived until we were dropped off at the airport. The attention to detail is ridiculous, and above anything I have ever seen. By the second day, the staff knew us by name! And I would like to mention a few of them by name who were amazing. Patricia in the morning at the restaurant, from our very first day went out of her way to make sure that everything was exactly as we wanted it. At that same restaurant, Erik who was our server in the evening and also for our candlelight dinner on the beach, made everything so much better …even taste better by his awesome service and attention to detail. We went to the adjacent sister resort and had dinner at the Mexican restaurant, which I highly recommend (& also the Italian restaurant, Mio!) our server there, Elisio, had me smiling and enjoying everything even more with his wonderful personality. He knew that we loved the desserts the next day he remembered and brought us special desserts to our room. That was a wonderful added touch. We have a very interesting diet and the chefs curated & created everything especially for us!!! Last and definitely not least, was our personal staff. Alberto was always on the ready to take us wherever we needed. And we were assigned the 2 most amazing butlers, Fernanda & Liz. The level of service these women provided to me and my husband was beyond anything we had expected and now can’t imagine vacationing anywhere else. They completely spoiled us!! And went out of their way to make our 25th wedding anniversary a celebration and a day we will never forget. Yes, the accommodations and the location are exquisite. But it is always the people that make the experience. We had such an amazing time that before we even left we booked our next trip there!! And I will reach out to our two butlers before I arrive because I do not want anyone else to be taking care of us while we are there even though I’m sure whoever they would assign would be splendid. If you’re on the fence about indulging in a trip like this, allow me to give you a little push. You will not regret it. I know for sure I did not regret it. I'm sorry to say my experience was not awful, but certainly a disappointment. The food was sad. We paid $ 400 extra and struggled to find one good thing each day of a 4 day stay. The room had a beautiful view. We upgraded to a suite with kitchenette. Nice, but no dishes or any way of cooking which made the stove useless. The in- room jacuzzi did not work. Mold on ceilings and stained bedding. The booking said in- room snacks, not so. Nada. No ironing board. Tv stopped working on day two and the hotel response was, ” oh well ”. No water activities and a sad excuse for a beach. Sadly, not recommended. Save your money and go to The Bahamas!

My wife and I travelled the week of June 4 to 10 2023. We had the all inclusive package which included our food. Our room was close to the lobby which gave us access to the internet which was nice. We were on the ground floor in a bungalow style of house. The shower was a bit small but it worked well. The room had 2 beds and was big enough for what we needed. We spent most of our week at the pool which was AWESOME! The weather was great. High twenties to low to mid thirties all week. We had rain in the evening of Tuesday ( June 6) Wednesday (June 7) and Thursday (June 8). The rain was brief except for Thursday but all that did was cool the temperatures. and took away the sargassum. I swam at the beach every day after that. The food at the buffet was very good and we had plenty of choice. I ate smoked salmon every day at breakfast. The a la carte were first come first served so if you wanted reservations you just made your way to the restaurants early. The Japanese restaurant was a lot of fun as Daniel, the chef, put on a show for us. We had no issues getting reservations. All the a la carte were good. Overall, the staff was friendly, polite and very pleasant. The best part of the week was the people we met. We met people from many parts of the US, France, Germany, and England. It was a great week and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Stayed at Dreams Aventuras for my birthday weekend. It has been remodeled since we stayed there about 10 years ago. The upgrades are very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were so friendly and helpful. I had a birthday banner on my door and they delivered a Birthday dessert to my room. It was rainy a couple of days, but they had things for us to do. Bracelet making in the lobby was a big hit. The ocean was clean and clear and the little swimming hole on the other side of the tiki bar was a nice place to float and watch the fish. Several people were snorkeling there as well. I would definitely recommend especially if you have small children.

Overall the resort is nice. The team is friendly and hard working. However, upon check in there was no orientation / information given. Had my family not been there for two days already (figuring it out), we would have been LOST. Unfortunately, everyone focuses on the members…but no one ever explained / persuaded us to be members. Members have access to more restaurants, at all times, beach area, etc. Non-members had one restaurant option for breakfast. It was good but wanted to change it up after a few mornings. The meals were good, especially for an all-inclusive resort. It was a lovely to be greeted with a different treat daily, but our plates were quickly covered with ants as soon as the cellophane was removed. My husband thought the ants were stemming from the dining room table, but it was hard to know for sure since they only surfaced when food was left out. The rooms were nice, but our mattress needs to be replaced. The pool area is lovely and we had fantastic service from Viktor. The Littles loved the water slides, and Jai at kids club was a hit.

The hotel and all the experience was terrible. The food in the buffet is pretty much the same everyday and the quality is really low. There are not enough sunshades for all the guests in the hotel. One day, we left our towels on the sunbed, when we came back 30 minutes later they were gone and the staff told us that they ran out of beach towels. We lost our sunbeds and towels and we had to leave the pool because there weren’t any seats left. The staff doesn’t care about the hotel guests. The golf cars that are supposed to give you rides in the resort refused to take us like 90% of the time. The hotel concierge feels like a huge scammer. We asked if we could get a ride to the main gates of the resort and they refused to take us with the golf cars and said that we could call a taxi for 5$ each way (all of this is to move inside of the resort area). Also, they try to scam you by paying 50$ to go to playa del carmen, wich is like 15 minutes away. It’s a complete joke. Even for the price I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
