Furama City Centre Reviews

The concierge is excellent. Very helpful team. The room is cleaned daily. Very hardworking cleaner too. BUT! The bathroom has a kind of stench that could not be gotten rid off. Every morning, when I go into the bathroom, it smells badly. When I come back from work, and head into the bathroom, there is this bad smell again. I am not sure why it smells badly and the cleaner cleans the room everyday. Perhaps it is the toilet piping ? Or perhaps they need to refurbish their carpets? I will not repeat stay here in future although is good, friendly and helpful.

The TV is not working, I need to fixed it by myself. The carafe is dirty. Called to reception 4 times no answer, so I gave up! Not worth SGD160++ per night for a superior room. Others than that, overall is ok. Location is good.

I recently revisited the hotel and decided to book a club room to enjoy the upgraded amenities. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a lovely view—definitely a comfortable and pleasant stay. The club lounge provided a decent dining experience, with a good variety of food options. While everything was satisfactory, I still prefer the food at the sister property, Furama Riverfront, which I find slightly better in terms of taste and selection. Overall, it was a nice stay, and I’d consider returning, especially for the club room benefits.

My wife and I stayed here with our 20 month old son and cannot fault it. We had a spacious and clean executive room on floor 22, had a bath and a shower which were well equipped. The bed was comfortable and they provided a cot which was looked after. Coffee / tea was refilled daily but could also refill ourselves from the lobby or next to the lift on our floor and there were filtered water dispensers scattered around the hotel including our floor and next to the gym. Gym and pool are small but that’s expected for location however served their purpose. Didn’t have breakfast but did use the restaurant al a carte menu for dinner a few times which was very well priced and high quality. Finally - staff were great, from check in to check out they made us all feel incredibly welcome especially our son. Would recommend to anyone. Named staff we got Lee Mei Maya at reception and Desmond and Agnes at the restaurant. But thank you all staff that we met

Good since near Chinatown and Singapore river. So many good restaurants near by.

Overall a good stay with helpful staff and a good location in the city centre, right next to a metro and just 5 minutes walk from plenty of nice streets and restaurants. Good views from the large window. The decor is old and dated and could do with an upgrade and modernisation.

Convenient for shopper to stay in around that area.

Prime location few mins walking through Chinatown and 15 mins to Merlion . Just cross the bridge to the shopping mall. Hotel quite old with heritage design, small gym with lovely pools.

Location wise: Perfect Near CBD areas

The location was great and very close to the MRT station, local restaurants and Chinatown. If you’re looking for a more budget hotel stay this is probably a good stay - they have all the amenities you need and it seemed clean enough. Our only problem with it was that everything looked a bit old so it made everything seem dull and unclean and the shower pressure wasn’t as high as we liked.

I guess this isn't something new but the hotel is in dire need to update its rooms and furnishings. Service wise is a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars - they are such a gem and a true asset to the organisation. The view from the room was excellent - clear sight of the harbour and Singapore Flyer. However, I do not think that the club lounge was worth the top-up. Food and drinks selection are quite limited and not of the same quality as Furama Riverfront. The lounge is located at a small corner at level 2 with no view and manned by 2 staff - Ray and Ralph. As always, both of them are helpful and ever ready to serve. Kudos to the crew at Furama CC but I do hope that the management could look into revamping the rooms and furnishings soon in order to remain competitive, especially their location and service staff are currently the only ones helping to keep them with a competitive edge.

Convenient for public transport and business district. Easy to commute and lots of options for food are there. Highly recommended.
