Very good and confortable hotel

Great local hotel. Super clean. Great staff. Wonderful breakfast. It’s all good in Siem Reap. And Amber Angkor is a terrific value.

Absolutely live Amber Hotel Siem Reap. Great location, staff are friendly and welcoming. Close to Pub street and river you can literally walk anywhere. Will stay again next time

They had a great pool and poolside bar.

front-desk is efficient…room is big…location is good… only thing may be concerning you is the AC, which seems not being powerful enough to handle the room temperature (not: month April is the hottest month before rainy season begins, as locals saying).

A few days before we were due to stay, the hotel messaged me to say there was a problem with the water and they were switching us to their sister hotel with an upgrade. We cooperated. However, there was no upgrade and the sister hotel was in a location on its own in an area not good for tourists. Although the staff at the other hotel were amazing, the actual hotel was not. We were conned and nothing was offered.

This is such a lovely hotel The staff are amazing very attentive happy and helpful Internet is a bit hit and miss in your bedroom and bar shuts too early but maybe that’s because it was not high season when we travelled But overall excellent facilities and a wonderful massage in the spa

This is a hard review because the one outstanding thing at this hotel was the staff. But that said I felt the hotel just needed some updating in some areas , bathrooms very dark and hot water very hit and miss. Location was great and always TUK TUKS available outside hotel. We had to request a room change because of poor air-conditioning but the request was handled quickly and new room sourced. Probably better to get a room with Balcony as our view was another room . I appreciate it's a free breakfast but 2 out of the three days , continental offering ransacked and no replenishment offered. I'm afraid I would choose different property on my next visit to Siem Reap.

Tucked away in lush foliage, this gem of a hotel offers a serene and convenient stay in Siem Reap. The location is ideal, with the market, restaurants, temples and a few boutique shops within walking distance. The amenities are nice, featuring an outdoor pool, an outdoor bar with poolside food service, and a spa. I enjoyed a great massage at the spa, though it was pricier compared to in-town options. The hotel restaurant was adequate, offering an omelette bar and the same four dishes during my three-day stay. Hard-boiled eggs were available upon request. The rooms, while on the small side, are comfortable, though the bathrooms are quite tiny. A minor issue was that the safe in the room did not work, which was inconvenient for securing passports. Additionally, my room featured windows & when the curtains were pulled back, revealed a building an arm length away. Getting a tuk-tuk to Angkor Wat was easy, and the hotel had security guards for added protection, which provided peace of mind. Overall, this hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay with some minor areas for improvement.

Very comfortable hotel, clean, quiet, nicely located close to the city center, very good standing. Above all, the kindness and outstanding sense of service of the hotel staff have to be outlined. Keo Kongkea and her colleagues are always ready to support and even anticipate all the customers' needs. Their helpful and respectful attitude are exceptional and we appreciated it totally. Final hotel for our Contiki trip. Ended up booking three more days after Contiki. Friendly staff and nice bar pool. Located in the quiet part of town and a few minutes walk to the major centre (pub street and Cambodia markets). Breakfast was great, range of different cuisines from Western to Khmer
