Let me talk about the good place first: the carpet is very comfortable and the color is very beautiful. With a bottle of mineral water, it is still basic humanity. The young lady who checked in gave us a very detailed introduction, and even considered the details of how we were going out to play and take the car.
Poor place: the room is small, the restaurant and bar downstairs are also very small. Eating is not very convenient. We ordered takeaway. Breakfast options are very small

Buffet breakfast from 5am incl., plus free WIFI. Half a mile from the airport, 15-min drive from downtown, or 30 min via the tram opposite the hotel, near beltway exit 11. Soundproofed air-con rooms, TV with BeIN Sports and Canal plus channels, meeting rooms, bar, restaurant, 24 hours snacks. Garden terrace, free parking, airport shuttle from 5:45am some days, schedule at reception, open-space for work events.

The hotel itself is ok. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room was ok. Clean but scruffy and indeed of deep cleaning and upgrading. The beds were clean and comfortable. The curtains were scruffy with holes. The price was way too high for standard of accommodation. The dining experience was DREADFUL. The chef was continually scratching his scalp, beard, neck, face and nose all whilst cooking and serving out and others food. He did not wash his hands once. Food hygiene was non existent. When we talked to the “senior” waiter, who thought our issue was very amusing, nothing changed. Luckily this chef did not serve breakfast on the next morning. But we saw him arrive for work, still scratching himself. Unacceptable. I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel if you want to eat there.

After Ctrip paid the payment to the store, the unknown reason was cancelled. It may be that the agent did not communicate well. Fortunately, there was room at the time. Ctrip customer service contacted the result and paid for the payment. The episode was over. Breakfast is delicious and parking is free. The minibar is free. The room is big, just the room, the stairs.

We had booked this hotel for 7 days. There is a tramline into Bordeaux that goes from outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. We bought a 7 day ticket and used it every day so excellent value but the trams are very busy sometimes so we had to stand on some trips. If you're staying here and don't want to use the tram then you'll definitely need a car as it's basically on the side of the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Rooms are big and clean. Nice and quiet. Loads of parking. Breakfast was okay. The pool is very small (not really big enough to swim in it) and not heated so we didn't use it. Overall a nice hotel, but probably more suited for business use or stop overs due to location.

I stayed together with my partner at your hotel in Merignac last week the nights of the 29th and 30th of October. The night of the 30th we came back to the hotel around 22:30 p.m. and the reception was closed, so we used our card to open the main entrance of the hotel. Unfortunately, the card was not working as the door did not open. We tried several times to call the number which appeared in the front door, but no one replied. Suddenly some customers who were inside the hotel appeared and they opened us the front door. They told us that they have faced same issue; they could not open the front door. Additionally, they could not open their bedroom door, as the card was not working. We tried as well to open our bedroom door, but same issue happened, the card did not work. We were around two hours trying to reach someone from the hotel to solve this unpleasant situation, but we had no response at all. We were checking numbers of different Nemea hotels. We talked to both Lyon and Toulouse hotels, but they told us that they could not help us. They were stating that they were independent hotels and that they had no relationship between each other. We really felt abandoned and the whole situation was very unpleasant. We did as well call the police as we were desperate to solve this issue. As we had no response whatsoever from the hotel, we decided at around 0:15 a.m. to leave Nemea and search another hotel to spend the night. We needed to get a sleep. Same did the family that were with us in the reception. Moreover, they had two young daughters. Next morning, we went into the Nemea reception to explain the whole situation. The response we got from the man in the reception was to write an email to the following email account: merignac-stadium@nemea.fr. We did not accept so as we wanted a compensation on that same day. After that they agreed to pay us for the new hotel room we booked. This was not acceptable, and we required to compensate for the lost time, the several calls we did, the medication I was not able to take, and all the inconveniences caused. Finally, we got paid the hotel night at Ibis plus the Smartbox value. Finally, we would like to take the chance for you to recheck the internal policies on how you control the security as well as the emergency numbers in case any technological damage arises. A customer cannot be left abandoned as it has been done in this case.

Ddavid lEverything, the room, bed, bathroom. Situation was just off the main route, felt secure with passcode gates. Welcome was good and share of info was good. The garden was lovely, very spacious, with two gite units at the bottom. Breakfast was tasty, served in a glass conservatory. Back on the road at 8:30 after breakfast.

GGuest UserYes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit. Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet swimming gear, holding a baby bath whilst we attended a wedding in cognac and holding our luggage whilst we had a day out in Bordeaux…all done with a smile. They absolutely made our trip travelling with a baby so much less stressful. Also going in the middle of august the rooms are so cool and comfortable. It’s around the corner from lovely places to eat and the tram stop is two minutes away for easy access to airport and Bordeaux. It’s no frills but would definitely stay again - thank you Kyriad!

GGuest UserWe came to the family (2 adults and 2 children) for 2 days. At our arrival at 23h the receptionist was very nice. 195€ for 2 nights, the price is more than reasonable. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and it is very comfortable and very comfortable. The staff is laughing and welcome For the breakfast there is no bad choice, even when you go down at 10:15. Only a little bemol, it is not fruit. There is only fruit salad. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. I think it's because of the outer vegetation. We all broke them and we didn't find any others next night. What is also bad, is that there is no part in the rooms. Only 2 gardens. Sorry if you want to be in the full black. Our room had a bathroom with water, which is a positive point especially with children. We will come back with great pleasure

GGuest UserBooked this hotel because of its proximity to Bordeaux airport and a reasonable long term parking deal, given that our absence would span almost 8 weeks. The room was compact, not much storage space for 4 suitcases and 2 cabin bags, plus very narrow bedroom door made getting the bags in and out a bit of a hassle. Overall would say it did the job without being outstanding, hence the 3 star review.

GGuest UserI stayed there 3 nights. - I thought a hotel was cleaning the rooms or nobody came to make my room that stayed 3 days the same. -The breakfast in the room brought to the morning at 19:00 (Covid oblige) was rather an interesting formula because I had to leave at 6:00 a.m. to work But the first night I had butter (???), confectionery, honey and nutella, The next night, even but the butter (better) comes out and the third night, no chocolate!!! they had no more!!! The rooms are very comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable. -I needed to work but there was no desk, just a small 30cm tablet of 50... -Finally there is a parking where you need to enter with a code, but when you arrive you do not have it (normal) But no place to park to register, I had to park on the park in the neighboring hotel (!) . There is also a huge panel marked that ”the damage and flights caused to cars are not the responsibility of the hotel”. OK. But what does it make use of having a code parking then if the cars are not safe? The hotel is very good and the rest is good for one night.

Bbigouden2It is cheap like the hotel. A lot of trash all around the property, broken stolen cars on the parking lot. The room we got was spacious and relatively cleaned except for the walls that are very dirty, the kitchenette has what you need to cook but no sponge and dish liquid to do the dishes. Also there are a lot of workers from other countries staying here, hanging out outside. The breakfast is very decent
