I would imagine most people stay here because of its proximity (one tram stop or a short shuttle ride) to the Bordeaux Airport. For convenience only - don’t do it!!! What I experienced was an old, run down, shabby hotel that disappointed on all fronts. Room had a bad smell to it, super tiny, one (!) electrical outlet in the whole room, small 24” tv that didn’t work, room was dark, bathroom setup funky, breakfast was a joke (less than continental!), and everywhere I went (including my room) in the hotel the floors were sticky. I was afraid to touch anything and wondered how well everything was cleaned……..the place was dirty. So here’s the thing - all this for 175 euros a night!! Which I realize is season - dependent pricing. But best advice I can offer is check alternatives. Yes this hotel is next to first tram from the airport. Other hotels near airport off the tram stop are generally not good either, but I can’t directly compare agains this one. But - the tram from/to airport runs all the way into central Bordeaux in 30 minutes. It would be better to get a better hotel around Mériadeck area or somewhere else in town near the Tram and just take the Tram to the airport (1.90 euros for ticket) and it is easy to carry luggage on the tram - I have done it before. Or - there is a Holiday Inn 2 miles from airport, rated well on TripAdvisor - and just a short and inexpensive Uber Ride away from the airport. Probably around the same price or close to as this place. Even if it’s slightly higher priced it’s worth it - don’t stay at this place!
