"The suit is OK, but the feeling is not up to double-crow standard. The pool is not on, and the room is starting to get a bit old. The faucets are also a bit malfunctioning. Then I stayed for four days and breakfast was no different."

"We had an amazing time at the hotel. Staff were wonderful and made us feel welcome. We arrived early, and the receptionist checked us in immediately. The room was complimentary upgraded to Seaview on the 10th floor with amazing views. Breakfast was delicious, with continental buffet and cooked breakfast available to order at the table. Dinner had many choices on offer, including sushi. Chef was aware of my allergies to shellfish and ensured I had specially prepared a platter each evening. The pool and beach area is spacious with plenty of loungers to choose from, ice cooler of bottle water replenished, and cold face towels provided. We were truly impressed with traditional decor and personal touches like fruit basket on arrival."

Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff, comfortable rooms with a stunning sea view – everything was top-notch. "What a super hotel and probably one of the best that we have ever stayed in! Hotel is extremely clean and modern, with all the facilities that you would need. Breakfast was amazing and staff went out of their way to make sure we felt like royalty! Our room was super nice and had a beautiful view overlooking the Doha Skyline - incredible. Staff were all amazing, always polite and helpful. Rooftop bar is great way to spend an evening with views overlooking Doha. Our best part was when we arrived early from the airport ( 9am) and we were taken to the breakfast room where we were given free tea and breakfast until our room was ready. What an amazing start - thankyou Alwady for an incredible holiday."

"A very good hotel. All hotels in Doha require security checks when entering, and the lobby is generally small. The hotel is an apartment-style hotel, with one-bedroom apartments on the 13th floor. Floors 3-17 have one- and two-bedroom apartments. Floors above the 18th floor have three-bedroom apartments. The 42nd floor also seems to have one- and two-bedroom apartments. See Is it possible to get lucky? The room I stayed in had a sea view, but there were some hotels across from the sea. The room was very spacious and all kinds of things were relatively complete. The toothbrushes that were missing at the beginning of the stay were delivered quickly after a phone call. Water was replenished every day. There were various kitchens in the kitchen. There are also all utensils, 1.5 bathrooms, and a decent breakfast. The only drawback is that the room I checked in smells like smoke. I don't know if it was a problem with the previous resident or the air-conditioning system. People in Doha are very nice and I will come back if I have the opportunity."

"Room decor and comfort was superb - and very large and well appointed. Minor gripes were the iPad they gave to control all of the room functions didn’t respond well so if I clicked to turn off the light it didn’t turn off for about 20 seconds, and the TV channels didn’t change at all. This wasn’t a huge problem as I could use the normal controls too, so I just forgot the iPad. The other minor grumble was that the lights are set to either day, relax or off mode, which is a little restrictive if you only want some of the lights on or off, and it was a bit finickity, as from the bed you couldn’t open the blinds and the curtains without switching on all of the lights, so that was a bit annoying - It felt as though they got too obsessed with technology that didn’t provide additional value and actually ended up hampering the experience.  As for the staff they were all amazing, but maybe the guy with glasses who welcomed everybody when they got back went a bit overboard and was quite disingenuous - he was answering a question of mine when he spotted someone else arriving and literally just cut off our conversation and went to say welcome back to them - it was as if he was just picking the people he thought he’d get a tip from! So I’d rather have had him not greet me in a fake way, and just not greeted me at all. The breakfast was exceptional, with a great choice and always plenty of seating. The afternoon tea was okay if not overpriced for the quality of the sandwiches at the cakes, the latter which were pretty generic for such an upscale hotel, I’ve had better afternoon teas at half the price in less upscale cafes. The ambience and the food on the rooftop bar Restaurant was very good, and the views were simply magical! Overall it’s the kind of hotel where you could spend the weekend without leaving and just enjoy being there. I would definitely go back again!"
