The B&B was clean and tidy, with ethnic decor. It was conveniently located, with a taxi ride of about 10 yuan to the ancient city. Our hostess, Ma Li, was beautiful, warm, and gentle. We arrived at 7:30 a.m., while Kashgar's office hours were at 10 a.m., and Ma Li greeted us warmly, showing no sign of displeasure at our early arrival. However, because the previous guest hadn't checked out yet, Ma Li couldn't check us in. We were dusty and disheveled after an overnight train ride. Ma Li offered to open a spare room for us to wash up, making us feel at home even on those strange mornings. We stayed at the Red Willow Flower B&B for a total of five days, spending eight days in and out, and traveling elsewhere. Every time we returned, we were greeted by Ma Li and the hostess with smiles and warm greetings. It felt like returning home, not just to a B&B. The hostess, a beautiful and approachable young woman, not only offered to wear Uyghur traditional clothing for us to take photos for free, but also enthusiastically helped us take photos.
