We were only there for two nights (stopover to head to Harbin)but the location was really centralised. You can easily walk to the city area and their hotel is not far from the train station.

One will also be spoilt with food choices within that location. Walking to Shenyang train station is approx. 12 to 15 minutes.

I stayed at Shangri-La for a couple of nights with my mom. The hotel is nice. The food in the main restaurant is not tasty and overpriced. The service and hospitality of the reception was great.
