A comfortable and cozy guesthouse with stunning views from the rooftop, complete with hammocks and an English-speaking host (which was super helpful for a foreigner like me). The facilities were very clean. It's relatively close to the train station and surrounded by many bus stops, making it easy to get to different parts of the city. An excellent choice for traveling in Shantou!

The room was quite spacious, and the location was very convenient. The hostess was super friendly and helpful with any questions about getting around. The room had most of the essentials, but I had stayed at another B&B the night before that was about the same size but also had a small table, chairs, and a freestanding drying rack, which would have been more convenient here. This place was very clean, and they provided disposable towels. I forgot to bring my own slippers this time, and the disposable ones here weren't great quality; they couldn't be worn for more than one use. On the second night, the auntie changed everything else but didn't replace the slippers. I always bring my own sleeping bag liner when I travel, so my sleep experience was still decent. Overall, it was a good stay – clean, convenient, and with great service!

Highly recommend this accommodation in Shantou! It was a fantastic experience. The rooms are all very spacious, and there's a good-sized parking lot downstairs, which is super convenient if you're driving or renting a car. The hygiene is excellent, and the hotel is located near MixC, making it easy to get to Xiaogongyuan (Small Park) and explore the food streets. The hotel service is absolutely wonderful, genuine, and enthusiastic, especially the laundry room and restaurant. The laundry room staff periodically collect and sort clothes for washing and drying. The dried clothes are neatly bagged and set aside for guests to pick up. I later found out that this isn't a dedicated full-time role; instead, staff from other departments make time to help guests with their laundry, which is truly amazing! 👍 In the past, whenever I used self-service laundromats, I'd have to set an alarm for the middle of the night and often make wasted trips. The laundry room here is incredibly efficient. You truly feel the power of proactive service. The gentleman at the restaurant was also super friendly and always asked if we were comfortable or if we'd like a bowl of kway teow soup. When my child wasn't feeling well, he even told us to take the food to our room for her. Chaoshan truly lives up to its reputation as a leader in the service industry; we really felt taken care of. Shantou truly has that wonderful, down-to-earth charm.

The room was spotless, with a full range of disposable toiletries and all necessary amenities, which was very convenient. This trip to Shantou, I was with a few children. Before check-in, we thoroughly discussed the check-in time, and they even sent us a travel guide, which was fantastic! Since we were tight on time and it rained on our check-in day, we didn't get to visit many popular spots. Instead, we just wandered around the nearby food street, and all their recommended food and drinks were excellent. In the evening, back in the room, my children encountered an issue with their game. Staffs are very helpful & friendly. Booked the loft type but the room wasn’t ready when we reached. Thus the staff showed us a couple of rooms to choose. U can see cats roaming around the area. Rooms are well decorated with different styles. However, housekeeping needs to improve as the room & toilet floor is very dirty with previous guests’s hairs & also their lash extensions! :/ @~@ Out from the building, turn left & walk to longyan street ( ard 10 mins ) where you can find tons of food there! =P”
