The hotel's location is excellent, just over a kilometer from MixC Mall and about 3 kilometers from Longyan South Road. The lobby is very clean and modern, even better than the pictures online. The front desk staff was very welcoming, exceeding my expectations. The room itself was great, aside from not having an outside window and being a bit small. (Some of the sheets and towels were a bit worn, which could be checked and replaced). The hygiene was good, the decor details were nice, and the air conditioning worked well. Overall, the hotel surpassed my expectations. Although there was a minor hiccup during checkout, the hotel's resolution was satisfactory.

Extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel overall was clean and grand, feeling very comfortable upon entering. The room was meticulously cleaned, with no dust even in the corners. The mattress was just right, not too soft nor too hard, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The WiFi speed was stable, perfect for both work and streaming videos. The front desk service was attentive, and they even thoughtfully provided information about nearby attractions. Both hygiene and service were top-notch, and the price was affordable. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for my next trip!

This place has potential for improvement. The location is excellent, making it convenient to get around. The service attitude is great, and they even offer small gifts and fridge magnets. Now for the downsides: the soundproofing is terrible. At night, as soon as you close your eyes, you can feel the lively nightlife of Chaoshan. You constantly hear doors opening and closing in the hallway, water turning on and off next door, and motorbikes roaring down the street. The absolute worst, though, is the continuous sound of planes taking off and landing in the morning. As anyone who frequently watches IMAX knows, 'whether it's the sound of a needle dropping or the deafening roar of a plane engine...' Then there are the detail issues. I booked a twin room, but the shower and toilet are only separated by a fabric curtain with a gap you can see through. The distance from the bathroom door to the outer edge of the toilet bowl is only ten centimeters. Squatting down to use the toilet feels like a challenge to fit an elephant into a refrigerator. My current best solution is to squat with the door open, then close it, which then gives you a 'zero clearance' kind of beauty. On top of that, the sloped shelf above seems less meticulous, designed at just the right angle for everything placed on it to slide off, a rather 'clever' design flaw. After turning off the lights at night, the glowing toilet seat emits a faint light through the fabric curtain. Then there's the shower experience. I must say, the facilities are high-end. Initially, it's a bit of a puzzle, but once you roughly figure it out, you can adjust the temperature control knob like a master locksmith – a truly satisfying experience. Thoughtfully, they also provide eye masks and earplugs by the bed.

This is a classic five-star hotel with an incredibly stable ambiance. The lobby is super impressive! There's even a really cool Rolls-Royce display car. It has a low-key, vintage 'old money' vibe, perfect for amazing photos with a rich texture. ✨ But the absolute best part is the location! Just a few minutes' walk downstairs takes you straight to Long'an South Road food street. Beef hotpot, Chaoshan snacks, desserts, and rice noodle rolls are all right there. No need for a taxi, you just step out and start eating – it's fantastic! It's also super close to MixC World and Suning Plaza. Great for shopping and catching the city light show at night. It's not far from Xiaogongyuan Arcade either, making your Shantou sightseeing super smooth. ✅ The room, I genuinely found it so comfortable! Spacious, clean, and the bedding was so soft – I slept wonderfully. The high-floor city view is excellent; the night view is gentle and therapeutic. It comes with a bathtub and a separate wet/dry area, making the washing experience very comfortable. The amenities are totally on par with new hotels! ✅ Free indoor heated pool and gym access. ✅ The buffet breakfast has a huge variety, including authentic Chaoshan rice noodle rolls. ✅ Free parking and attentive service, suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. Even though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained. Staying here feels very secure and relaxing. If you want to focus on eating your way through Shantou and have a hassle-free trip, Choosing this place is definitely a winner! Super high value for money. 👍

Overall, the stay was quite impressive. The room was spacious and comfortable (great for kids to play in), the hygiene was meticulously maintained, and room service was highly efficient. Plus, we had a fantastic sea view directly from our room. A special shout-out to the young lady with braids and glasses at the front desk – she was incredibly thoughtful and meticulous during check-in, with a delightful smile and attentive service. The breakfast variety was decent, and it was a nice touch that cutlery was already set on the tables. However, there's still room for improvement: the restaurant staff lacked proactivity, often passing guests without greeting them, and dish collection wasn't prompt enough. Some food details were also overlooked; there was no strawberry jam for the toast, and when I asked the chef on duty, the reply (just two words: ”We don't”) was rather cold. Also, there was no milk or ice available at the coffee machine. As a Sheraton, an international brand under Marriott, while appreciating the local touches, I hope they can align with the group's unified service standards and further optimize their service awareness and dining amenities. Despite these points, it was still a good stay overall.

A hidden gem of a hotel! The rooms are clean and tidy, and you can tell the housekeeping staff pays attention to every detail. The furniture and appliances are all in good working order. The environment is quiet; you can barely hear any outside noise once the door is closed. For those driving, the parking lot and charging stations are a big plus, making it convenient to charge your car. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, and the freshly prepared Kway Teow soup is authentic and delicious. It's truly a great place to stay when visiting Chaoshan~

This guesthouse experience exceeded my expectations! The host was incredibly welcoming and communicated very well. There's also a super cute and therapeutic kitten at the front desk. The room was very spacious, making for a comfortable stay. The overall environment was extremely quiet, ensuring a high quality of rest. The common area has a laundry room with a dryer, which is super convenient for washing clothes while traveling. The guesthouse's decor has a great aesthetic vibe, it's very clean, and the facilities are complete. It's a short walk to both Longyan South Road and MixC, making it convenient for dining out. It's a great place to stay, very comfortable overall, and I'll definitely choose it again next time. Highly recommended!

I originally planned to visit Longyan South Road for some food, and this nearby hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The room was spotlessly clean, and the facilities were complete. The two 1.5-meter beds were large and comfortable, and the bed linen felt quite new. Both the front desk and room service staff were quite friendly. The large projection screen was also a nice touch. The area around the hotel has a strong local vibe, mainly residential, so there's a fresh market and various small shops, which is very convenient. Downstairs, there's a Shengji Goose Restaurant that's pretty good. A short walk further, you'll find various local delicacies, including the intangible cultural heritage inkball noodles. Downsides: When I first entered the room, there was a strong sewage smell, but it disappeared after I took a shower. Also, there were people singing karaoke nearby at night, which was a bit noisy.

Located right next to MixC shopping mall, it's just a few minutes' walk to the commercial area. There are shared e-bikes right outside the entrance, making it convenient to get to Longyan South Road and Xiaogongyuan. 🛏️ The room was comfortable. The decor was simple and fresh, the space was generous, and the cleanliness was impeccable. The bedding was soft, and I slept soundly all night. It even came with a traditional Kung Fu tea set, which was a lovely touch and very characteristic of Chaoshan culture.

After much deliberation, I finally settled on Longhu Hotel, and it truly made for a very satisfying trip. The hotel's location is excellent, close to everything. Secondly, the rooms are very spacious. I was initially worried about the smoke smell mentioned in some negative reviews, but when I checked in, there was absolutely no smell at all. The service was also fantastic, and there was even complimentary mineral water available in the hallway. It was a very enjoyable trip. And a little personal note, the Chaoshan-style preserved fruit (gan cao shui guo) was surprisingly delicious, just wanted to throw that in, haha!
