A Shanghai-style Shikumen hotel hidden away in the city, enjoying peace and quiet in the bustle. The service was excellent and responsive. The hotel's cultural and tourism officer called me early to discuss my room check-in requirements, and breakfast can also be ordered to the room. The only regret is that the hotel's Michelin Black Pearl restaurant was temporarily closed for renovation during this stay, so we can only experience it next time.
