Youli Hotel (Shanghai People's Square)

Very clean hotel close to the center and the metro stop ... good value for money

The air conditioner was very loud and noisy and I couldn't sleep all night. Fortunately, I only booked one night.

The staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the breakfast has NO Western options. The staff don't speak a word of English, even at the Hampton. The rooms are modern and clean. But unfortunately, they're quite small. The staff are very friendly.

The location of the hotel is very good. You can walk to Nanjing Road easily. If you go during the cool weather, you can walk for a short while and you will arrive. The famous shops within walking distance are Long Time ago No.1 Department Store. The receptionists are very cute. Some can speak English and some can't, but everyone tries to help and welcome you every time you come back. When we checked in, we arrived early. If there is a room available, we can go in without waiting until 2 pm. The hotel is decorated very cutely. You can take pictures from many angles. The cleanliness is considered good. Many Thais may be worried, but don't worry. The hotel is clean. There is daily cleaning, changing towels and hair towels, refilling water daily or asking for more. The hotel is located at People's Square Station, Exit 1. When you go up, you have to go down the tunnel and walk into the alley. I recommend that if you have heavy luggage, call DiDi. But if you don't mind, coming from the Metro is very convenient. The station is very big. You can walk through to many places. There is a Family Mart next to the hotel. Opposite is Luckin' Coffee and a Chinese restaurant. Near the hotel is a Marmalade coffee shop that opens from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. The coffee is very delicious. The receptionists are very good. If I have a chance, I will definitely go back to stay again.
