Park Hyatt Shanghai Reviews

I recently stayed at the Grand Hyatt in the World Financial Tower in Shanghai for one night, from May 3rd to May 4th. I booked a Bund View room, and while the view was spectacular, the overall experience left something to be desired. The room was spacious but sparsely decorated, with a small TV and a somewhat awkward bathroom layout. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows went flat quickly. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly, though my request for a higher floor wasn’t accommodated. The check-out process was smooth. However, I was disappointed by the need to pay a deposit despite being a platinum member, and by the lack of complimentary minibar items, which I’ve come to expect in similar hotels. I didn’t get to use the pool, but it looked nice with a great view. Unfortunately, the hotel’s dress code policy meant I couldn’t dine at their restaurants since I wore shorts on a hot day, which felt inconvenient. This led me to dine at the Jin Mao Tower next door, which offered a lovely buffet. Overall, while the view was stunning and the bed comfortable, the room felt overpriced for what it offered. I’d recommend considering the neighboring Jin Mao Tower for a better value and experience.

The food at Park Salon was good and the services were great. Enjoyed the food and drinks very much!

The hotel is in a very good location in the center of shanghai. We were quite excited to sleep in one of shanghai's most famous Towers. The room was very clean, the interior was a little run down (squeaking doors, big scratches on the floor, damaged silicon of bathtub), but everything worked fine. The view was obviously breathtaking! Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed by the english level of the reception staff. I would have expected differently at a hotel of this status.

Completely exceeded my expectations and made my staycation much more enjoyable. When I opened the curtains, the river views came in clutch, it was absolutely breathtaking taking. 前厅的工作人员超级专业，非常感谢儒雅帅气Zvonko谢斌，还有亲和漂亮的Winky张文文，住店两天期间全程的贴心服务，彰显专业酒店人精神。上海柏悦酒店是国内柏悦服务最好的一家。酒店虽然有一些年份，但是低调的华丽，充满了历史底蕴，优雅精心布置的客房，无论是餐厅还是走道每一位亲切微笑的员工，让我们住店的旅客得到了一个完美的避风港， 可以忘却平时生活和工作中的烦恼，全身心地放松，度过一个完美的假期。期待以后二刷上海柏悦，再次感谢Winky。

Always love this high rise hotel in Lujiazui

I had a great stay at Park Hyatt Shanghai. As expected, the view from the room was amazing. While the in-room technology and amenities aren’t the most up-to-date, the space was nonetheless very comfortable and well-appointed. I would have appreciated a more complete late-night room service menu, as well as the ability to order directly via WeChat (as is possible at Park Hyatt Guangzhou). I really liked the bathroom layout, especially the high-pressure rainfall shower. The staff at every level, including the concierge were outstanding: warm, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic. The bar and restaurant on the 91st floor was another highlight, a great service and one of the best if not the best view of the city.

Amazing experience above expectations. The hotel is in the middle of the centre, 10 minutes from the station, the staff is amazing most of them speaking English and knowing everything you can ask for as advice. The room was really spacious, spotless clean, equipped with everything you could imagine and the breakfast was beyond expectations. The concierge service was also amazing. I will definitely return myself and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Shanghai always in this hotel. Close metro lines 2 and 14. everything easy to reach.

Great location and absolutely magnificent place. Love all the amenities.

Hotel is nice, however the rainfall shower didn't work and I showed up to loud construction in my room because they were reworking marble for hours. Planned to stay another night, but decided to stay elsewhere because of this. Simply too expensive for things like this to happen.
