I live in Shanghai Metropolis, so a long weekend break in Songjiang was much-needed, and your hotel was my first pick as I am an IHG Member!!!!! Just take a look at my photos, and you'll see my happy face!! The experience at the hotel and the surrounding area was fabulous!!!! Wonderful, helpful, pleasant, smiling staff - from GM Richard Hng, to Director of Rooms, Mike, to Alisa who told me about my gift at check-out, to Seven at check-in, to Alex the bus-boy who carried my luggage and was so helpful , to the doorman who hailed me taxis and held the door open . . . .to the dining staff...to the housekeeping staff.....THANK YOU for my wonderful memories!!! Songjiang is beautiful and cultural..I enjoyed Guangfulin Park, a ride on the Green Line in a tram, Thames Town, and, of course, meeting friendly people, so wonderful as I travel everywhere alone!! I hope to return to your area in March for the sakura in the park!!

From the star, the hotel and their staff were welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. We had welcome tea, a beautiful water show and we're guided to our room. Our stay was made much smoother by the help of Sofiia, who guided us, reminded us of events as well as helped us with room service needs. There were extra touches throughout from the hotel room to the afternoon tea we had. The Cliff show was magnificent and such a treat. There are so many facets to this beautiful hotel. I would highly recommend spending a weekdn there.

It is a great hotel for family. It was a very satisfying vacation. In particular, I am grateful to Mr. Bruce for taking care of me carefully from before check-in until I left the hotel.

Bambi is my butler and he’s very friendly and helpful. He also prepared a gift for us.  The hotel is baby friendly but they don’t have sanitizers to provide. Will be great if can. But I like the hotel and will come back again.

We booked 8 rooms in total together with my family. Bambi, my service ambassador, did an marvellous job in helping to coordinate the stay. Even with exceptional request, she is willing to accommodate and get it done. She is a wonderful asset to the hotel. The hotel is a nice place to unwind with family.

I don’t want to spoil this experience for anyone so I am not going to share all the details as this was truly an unforgettable stay. This has officially become my favorite hotel from all everything I have enjoyed worldwide. Thanks to Bruce our personal butler for making the process seem so effortless. The rest is for you to experience yourself!

The Hotel is a bit out of the way and a bit of a trek to get there but once you arrive it really is stunning, if you like modern architecture and interior design you will love this place. It is really geared up for the Chinese market obviously, I think I was the only foreigner staying at the time so apart from reception very few people speak English but I managed OK. Check in was simple and the room was ready for me, very nice room with a lovely view and everything you needed was there, I loved the electric curtains and the stand alone bath tub in the bathroom, the electric switch panel next to the bed with all the controls was very complicated, I never did learn how it worked, and the iPad with all the information was only in Chinese so so that was no help. The one thing that did surprise me for a 5 star hotel was there was no 24 hour cafe on site, I arrived around 3 pm feeling very hungry and the only restaurant was closed after lunch service and not open again till dinner, the only thing available was coffee and cake in the lobby. Breakfast was good but extremely busy, I guess the hotel must have been full, difficult to find a free table but there was plenty of choice to eat. If you want to get the best view of the hotel for pictures you need to walk around outside and there is a children’s amusement park next door, you have to pay to go in but the have a glass walkway around one side of the quarry and you get the most amazing views of the hotel, the walkway looks like it should belong to the hotel but it doesn’t. I really enjoyed my stay there but you wouldn’t want long there, there’s nothing to do in the local area and nowhere to walk to, it’s quite remote, you really only go there to experience a stay in a very futuristic hotel and for that it’s worth it.

Great place a for family retrea and highly reconmended. Staff were great, particularly Teresa whom provided very personal concierge service for us, giving us information on the hotel and its surrounding.

We were taken care by Bruce very well. We had a great time during the new year.

Everything was good! The view and service was good! And Bruce was so nice and help us with our needs.

We really had a great stay for my son’s birthday from the moment we arrived till leaving. Especially one staff Alex who speaks English, Japanese and Chinese was fantastic. His hospitality and the way of support us made our stay very comfortable and special. We enjoyed whole 2 days with nice show, theme park next door, photo shoot and pool. Really kids friendly too. Thank you!

This is my best hotel experience in Shanghai！The light show at night was very shocking. The food in the cafeteria is various and delicious.Excellent room locationand, clean and tidy.Thank Ms. Grace at the front desk for giving me such a great experience!

We recently stayed with kids at the Intercontinental Shanghai Wonderland, and it was an incredible experience! The architecture is breathtaking, built into a quarry, creating a unique and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms offer stunning views, and the service was impeccable throughout our stay. The amenities were top-notch, from the indoor pool to the amazing dining options. It truly felt like a one-of-a-kind retreat. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a memorable and luxurious escape!
