Excellent location with easy transport access. The rooms are spacious and offer great views. There's a mall conveniently located right downstairs.
Our suite was incredibly spacious and provided fantastic views of the temple directly across the street. Having two bathrooms was a significant convenience, and the microwave was an added bonus!
The small mall below the hotel offers numerous dining choices, including a popular madeleine shop, a CU convenience store, and a coffee shop.
The hotel is close to the subway station, making Myeongdong easily accessible by taxi or bus.
Just a heads-up: the hotel's front desk isn't on the ground floor; you'll need to take the elevator up to the lobby.
Housekeeping is supposed to be available on certain days but it was not attentively done. Beds were simply made without changing of linens unless there is a request to do so. Floors were not cleaned with strands of hair visibly seen and stained. Mold was everywhere at the edges of the shower area. Cupboards and tables showed age and are really in need of a change. There was no supply of slippers as well.
Fresh towels and clearing of rubbish need to be requested as they do not provide automatically.
There are some good points though. There is a washer/dryer and all cooking/heating essentials are available. The fridge is very big also.
In addition, staff at the reception speak good English so there was no issue in communication.
Location is at heart of Insadong and there are 2 convenience stores outside the hotel for simple food fare and amenities to get.
Coffee Bean is right in the hotel for quick coffee break.
The staff are super friendly and attentive. There is a lady staff who is super kind - she let us use checked-in early when she saw my daughter sleeping on the sofa near the reception. The room is very clean and they provide washing machine at B2 which is useful. Location wise, just a few minutes to the metro station and Hangkuk village. There is a nice supermarket which opens til late hours. I would love to come again.

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, being close to numerous attractions and right next to a subway station, making it incredibly convenient. True to the Dormy Inn standard, it offers an onsen, free ice pops, complimentary nightly ramen, Yakult, and welcome drinks. My only minor gripe is that the onsen is quite small, with just four shower stations, meaning there's often a wait. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, guaranteeing a wonderful night's sleep every single day. In the evenings, the nearby Insadong area buzzes with authentic street food stalls. Though I didn't get a chance to try them, the lively atmosphere was very inviting. A great bonus is the WOWPASS machine located on the ground floor, making it super easy to get a card and top it up.
I loved the hotel, the service is very nice and the location is awesome, also the amenities you have really close the seoul tower, the bus is around the corner. The place is 20’minute by foot and the popular food market is also 20 minutes by foot.
The room is very clean and the cleaning is also a good thing to mention, for a second trip to Seoul I would stay in this hotel.
The only is that I wouldn’t pay again is the breakfast, I didn’t find so much option for the food, anyway that’s the only thing that I have to say I didn’t like but it’s not a big deal.
We really liked the hotel and room. We were there with our family. The room had everything we needed. Good dishes, a washing machine (even some washing powder), an iron, and an ironing board. We booked a three-room suite, but one room had no windows. The breakfasts were good; you won't go hungry. I missed some cheese and vegetables, but that's typical of local food.
The location is excellent, with Anguk subway station a 5-minute walk away. There are two palaces nearby, and Myeongdong Street is a 15-minute walk away.
There are restaurants both in the hotel and nearby, but (!) keep in mind that they close from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. And most restaurants in Seoul are open until 9:00 PM.
When we checked out, they helped us call a taxi, the staff was friendly, and there are ATMs with WowPass on the ground floor.
In my opinion, this is a great hotel. If I'm in Seoul again, I'll definitely stay here!
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel, which is located just a few blocks away from Myeongdong. The area is not too busy, which made it peaceful and relaxing, yet it’s still close enough to easily walk to shopping, dining, and entertainment spots.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they are well-maintained and feature very comfortable beds, ensuring a good night’s sleep after exploring the city.
Overall, this hotel is a great option if you’re looking for a quiet location near Myeongdong with excellent service and cozy, comfortable accommodations.
The checkin time was 14:00 but I came a little earlier and the staff was very nice to offer a promotion to sign up as member to enjoy early check in benefits and I was able to go up to my room right away. The room was spacious and clean. The location was really good. There was a convenience store just across the hotel and ikseondong area was within walking distance from the hotel. I had a really nice stay and would love to come again.
The senior lady in reception can speak good English and helped us during the check in process. Room is small but good for 2 people with 1 suitcases. Location is great too, walking distance to one subway station that are house to 3 different lines. During night, the surrounding is full of local food to choose from, and there’s a few convenience store nearby hotel too. I would say it’s really worth the price to stay here
The hotel located in a very convenient location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the metro station. The room is very clean and got everything you need. It has a washing machine in the bathroom which is a bonus. They provide coffee/tea machine, ramyon, cereal and kitchen equipment in the pantry on the third floor. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

Great
GGuest UserThis was my first time using self-check-in, but the explanations were easy to understand and they responded to my emails quickly, so I was able to check in with peace of mind.
The room was just as clean and neat as the photos! It only has a shower, so it might be cold for Japanese people in the winter, but it's a stylish, clean room with no unnecessary items. They don't provide pajamas, so I'll bring my own next time. I was also happy that the front desk staff spoke to me in Japanese when I checked out. I'll definitely use it again!
GGuest UserEverything was great here.
The management was so good that I'd want to come back again.
However, the facility service was really poor.
Of course, the manager helped, but it must have been the manager's fault.
The connection wouldn't work...oh well...
I came on a business trip and couldn't even shower before attending a meeting.
You know who I am.
I hope this doesn't happen to me or anyone else next time.
I hope this doesn't happen again the next time I make a reservation...
YYangcancanThe hotel was incredibly clean! Even for someone like me who's a bit of a clean freak, it was impeccable. The family room was incredibly spacious for two people.
The hotel's location is great, convenient for shopping, and it's within walking distance of Myeongdong. I'd definitely stay there again!
ららりーWe took a late-night flight and arrived at 4:00 AM, so the check-in time of 4:00 PM was a bit inconvenient, but the receptionist was very kind, and there was a Japanese-speaking staff member who explained things to us using a translator and a piece of paper with Japanese writing on it. There were three of us staying, and there were two shower faucets, so we were able to use our time efficiently. There was a bus stop and subway nearby, so the transportation was also excellent. There was a river nearby that looked like something you'd see in a TV drama, so we were able to take a walk at night. The price was reasonable, and if the price remained the same, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
AAina6968This place slight not so convenient.Quite difficult to find this place . The uber will sent you to different place ,so you have to find your self where is the exact place . I kept mistaken which subway line to drop off , the exit very messy.not recommended for those person not good in map. However the room is very confortable. Even the room very small still can open 2 big luggage. Once you open 2big luggage, very difficult to move.
Overall the process is okay. But I don’t think will stay again here .
刘刘The hotel is conveniently located at Jongno 3rd Street. Although it is in the alley, the entrance is the exit No. 14 of Jongno 3rd Street Station and the departure point of the airport bus No. 6002 from Incheon Airport. It is also close to Insadong, Sanqing Street and Gyeongbokgung. The room itself is not particularly large, but the bed is clean, the bed is big enough, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom toilet is separated from the wash basin and the shower, and the design is reasonable. There are many cheap restaurants in the downstairs of the hotel. There are pork clams, grilled fish, etc. It is worth recommending.
GGuest UserThe hotel is close to a touristic spot with beautiful bars and restaurants in old hanoks. It is just 5 minutes walk from busy street, so the place was quiet. The walls were thin though. If you are a light sleeper it is better to get earbuds. The room was nothing fancy, but comfortably clean. You get what you paid for, and to tell the truth the place is cheap for the centre of Seoul.
If you are looking for a place to sleep after a long day of traveling around the city, this might be a good choice
HHENGLIThe homestay is in a small alley, which is different from the Chinese name and the picture name on Ctrip. It took a long time to find it. The photo of the front door of his house is as follows, please click here to find it. The surrounding area is very lively at night, with better coffee shops and western restaurants nearby. Nearby shops are also quite distinctive.
GGuest UserAmbience: Overall very nice
Cleanliness: Clean and tidy
Service: Friendly and helpful
The hotel is in a great location, with convenient transportation and easy access to shopping, night markets, and Myeongdong!
