Hotels in Yeouido, Seoul

I stopped several times during a business trip. This is an ideal hotel, clean, nothing superfluous, you can always steam a suit, coat and refresh your belongings if necessary. There is one drawback - cleaning specialists can inspect the garbage and discuss it - this is extremely incorrect, they should understand that guests sometimes understand Korean... I sincerely wish you prosperity!

Room is quite small. Had 2 bars of used soap, a used toothpaste and a used wash cloth. Cold water in the wash sink is out of order in our room so we had to be extra cautious or get scolded with hot water when brushing our teeth. This is just a place to sleep not to feel comfortable. Overall a 2.2/5. The added .5 because they do provide new towels daily, free water and room cleaning.

Good Location, Friendly Staff, Room Needs Improvement The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful, with good English communication skills. They were also accommodating to my specific room requests. The room itself was nicely appointed, but unfortunately, the room temperature was too warm, fixed at 27 degrees Celsius with no option to adjust the heater. This made for an uncomfortable stay, especially at night. Additionally, the bathroom layout, while suitable for solo travelers, would likely be inconvenient for couples due to the lack of a separate door for the toilet area. There's no bidet, which was a bit disappointing. I think the hotel would benefit from upgrading to automated toilets for a more modern and convenient experience.

The hotel has a great location, close to Yeouido subway station and Hyundai Department Store. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped with our luggage. The front desk staff provided excellent service and were very polite. Due to not having a local credit card and accout issue, we couldn't use the app to book a taxi, but the staff promptly helped us with this. The view from the hotel window is excellent, with a clear sight of the Han River. The hotel uses Le Labo 31 amentities. However, the cleanliness needs improvement. Some areas has quite a bit of dust buildup, and the housekeeping staff placed our personal toothbrush directly on the counter, which made us uncomfortable as the toothbrush directly touched the surface.If we visit Seoul again in the future, I will still consider choosing Fairmont.

I had an amazing stay at Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Times Square! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Times Square with easy access to shopping, dining, and transportation. The room was clean, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was perfect after a long day of exploring Seoul, and the city view from the window added a special touch to the experience. The service was outstanding. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. I especially appreciated the seamless check-in and check-out process.

The location of the apartment is convenient as it is situated near a convenience store and several restaurants. Additionally, it is only a 10-minute walk away from the subway station. The room is relatively spacious but appears to be cluttered and unclean. The sofa has stains on it which is not very pleasant. However, the sound insulation of the room is poor and I often hear noises from the elevator and other rooms during the night. The elevator itself is not very hygienic and has an unpleasant smell. Moreover, the breakfast choices are limited.

Conveniently located next to IFC mall. There is a walkway at L1 that leads you directly to the mall with many high end stores. However, I am not quite happy with their pool. Half of the pool is blocked for play. There are about 20-30 kids there. I doubt they are all hotel guests. The remaining two lanes are ”members only,” and ”laps.” I am not sure what kind of membership you need to be able to swim on the members only lane. That lane is usually not occupied. The lap lane is busy. People jump in and out wihtout notifying the people alreay in the lane. I hit severl people by accident because of the lack of warning. When I asked whether I can use the members only lane. I was told no. Again, I am a paying guest for the hotel. Why can't I use the members only lane? In addition, they have to clean the pool every two hours for 15 minutes (pool is closed during the cleaning). I have never seen a pool that needs cleaning every two hours. Very poor management there.

The hotel environment is of good quality, the equipment is complete and novel, the mattresses are comfortable and moderately hard, and the electric heater is thoughtfully installed, which can be used immediately if the weather suddenly gets cold. The mall is nearby, so it is very convenient to go shopping when you go out.

I was very happy with the hotel till check out time. They insist that I overstayed and wants me to pay additional 11k won. I told them it's a miscommunication because room was not ready and we checked in very late, about 8+ pm. I requested to check out slightly later, 11am and counter staff noted. I was ready to check out at 10am but had the impression that I can check out slightly later. We check out immediately when they called us about 10.30am. It's a small amount but the staff could have been more polite to explain their policies.

”While searching for accommodation near Gongdeok Station, I mistakenly booked a budget-friendly place and ended up staying for a night. In conclusion, I think there's no hotel that matches this price range. What could be more important than warmth in the cold winter? The room I stayed in had a cozy ondol (underfloor heating). Additionally, warm water flowed generously during showers. Considering the price, I believe it's unfair to compare other aspects with 4-5 star hotels. I definitely have the intention to stay again next time.”
