Hotels in Gangnam, Seoul

We stayed for 3 nights and the place was wonderful! This was our last stay in 5-week travel including trekking in Nepal so we had an enormous amount of luggage. The staff was so kind and helpful letting us check in early and check out late free of charge, helped moving the luggage up and down the place. The lunch buffet was reasonably priced and full of choices. The room was clean and simple. The location was central (about 8-10 min walk to a few subway stations which were pleasant) and surprisingly quiet at night. Highly recommend it!

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. I got there early and they let me checkin and it was quite quick. The room was a decent size for a solo traveller and the shower was good. The location is okay since there’s three different stations to go too. Hak-dong station is around 8-10 minute walk and is on line 7. Sinsa is around 15 minute walk and Apgeoudo (spelling?) was around 18 minute walk. They are both the same line which is the orange colour one. I did find it a bit far but it was good for when you had a huge meal and need a walk back from the station. It is less busy and quieter for those who don’t like the bustling, noise in a central area. As for staff, I did not deal with them much aside from checkin so I had no issues. For amenities, there is a pool but I also did not go there since the weather is still cold. My negative review would be that the sheets did have hair on it. I have read other comments of the hair on the bed sheets before booking the hotel. However, I believe this to be a issue with what they are cleaning with or the machine they are using. The hair seems to stick to the bed sheets so it might be the washing machine needs cleaning? Aside from the bed sheets, the room was pretty clean. There is also a bit of noise from the Main Street since many cars pass by. They do provide earplugs but it doesn’t always block out all the noise from cars.

I don't think the pictures match how the rooms/hotel actually looks like. Everything looks relatively old, however clean. The location is excellent in my opinion, easy to get around from. A ton of restaurants and stores nearby. The room and especially the bathroom were big and therefore really nice! Only thing I wish was different was the stuff in the room. There are paper cups and coffee sticks but no spoons or such to stir the drink.

Great location! Next to Hyundai department store and Coex. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful (especially the concierge), the room service food excellent. Unfortunately the pool and gym under renovation. I would definitely book again for my next trip to Seoul.

The room is considered quite large in Korea. The two-story loft is spacious. The location is also very good. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping nearby. However, since it is a designer hotel, there are no more services. Remember to bring your own toiletries.

The hardware of the hotel is top notch. It is new with great facilities. The view over the city was breathtaking. The restaurants, especially the buffet restaurant and Eatanic Garden were amazing.

Breakfast buffet was excellent but is expensive; it had a good variety (eggs benedict, couple kinds of bulgogi, delicious mushroom soup and 30 other things) of high-quality options. The room set up was very nice; it was divided into 2 sections; 1 for TV and kitchen/bar area and the other for bed and bath; having the extra space was nice to have on a rainy day. My room was just remodeled and had brand new everything; it also had a washing machine, very nice fridge, kitchen sink, small cook top. Lobby and lobby bar looks fantastic but I didn't get a chance to try the drinks. Location is good, some things are walkable but not all. Uber was easy to call from here.

Customer services are impeccable. I didn’t get to experience the bars or the restaurants, so not much to tell there. The hotel has great view even if not facing towards the coex mall. Overall the room is comfy. Minus point is that when checking in I had to deposit but after check out after 14 days my refund hasn’t been shown in my statement. I hope the staffs are more aware of the process to be able to assure the clients.

Room is expected to be small. Location is great with lots of shops and cafes and restaurants just across the street. The highest problem I had was the thin wall and door, no soundproof at all!! I hear the cleaning lady setting up her cart and vacuum every morning.

It is a good location. The room is good size for me and my wife and have every facilities. We feel comfortable. The hotel's location is good. It is close to subway line 9 which is on the left side, taking us to the domestic and international airports. The subway line 2 on the right sides taking us to most of the attractions. There is a resturants steet which you can eat anythings. There are 7-11 and CU opposite the road and you can buy water and soft drinks. The bad thing is that it on a slope and need a bit of walk uphill from stations. Nevertheless, we will stay in this hotel in future even though the room cost is on the high side.
