If it's too hot everywhere else, you can take a dip in the jacuzzi. The hot springs in Akiu are wonderful, and although they may sting a bit on the wound, they keep your skin moist and have a great heat-retaining effect, and after taking a morning bath, you stay warm all day long, even in the cold winter.
