Clean room, bedsheets and towels which is the main thing. House seems to be a bit older (the one closest to the pool) and has a funny "old" smell. But overall good stay, it's cosy, cottage like place. Animals running over roof at night, feels like being on a camping trip almost, pretty nice. Smiling owner, Euro/American style breakfast which we would appreciate local one more but I understand can't make everyone happy. We had our own car so not sure about transfers, accessibility etc.

Location is far away from town, says you can pick up and drop off but doesn't provide any contact information. You don't register your details when you check in and if something happens you don't even know who is staying in the room next to you. The most frustrating thing is the host's personality, because we missed a ring in the room, we asked them to retrieve it, the next day I went to retrieve the ring and I thanked them in English, but they mocked with a contemptuous tone in Malay, which I don't understand, maybe it's because finding the ring increased their workload and they are not happy? He sent me a speechless emoticon on WeChat when we left. I will absolutely, positively not book a second time next time I travel to Malaysia, and I hope that anyone reading this review will be cautious about booking a room.

Staff are great and friendly. The owner employs the environment friendly policy which I hope that more travelers can support him. There are fruit trees in the facility and they are very generous to share…fresh and sweet.

He's kind and has an excellent view of the surroundings. They even gave me after-sales service, so I had a great time

Very friendly and very clean. A very nice dinner was prepared on request and before we had some icecold beers. It is a 15 minute drive from Semporna. A lovely quiet location in the middle of nowhere but which serves excellent as a base to go to Mabul Island or to Lahad Datu. Great value for money !

Nice hotel

I like this place. It has been a long time since I have come across an accommodation that meets my standards. Everyone is very friendly, especially in the morning when I go out, I can breathe fresh air and embrace the feeling of nature.

I like this kind of environment very much, it is quiet and comfortable. In the evening, I sit in the garden and chat with my friends, it is so pleasant ~ and the boss is very nice, communication is barrier-free, and there is also a pick-up service, full marks! !

The owner is Chinese, pick-up and drop-off are included, the kids love the swimming pool, and there are cute squirrels. The environment is very good, natural scenery, not recommended for kids who mind mosquitoes and ants, it is hard to avoid them in tropical countries. When I first arrived in Semporna, I stayed in a hotel in town for one night. Compared with the environment and various conditions in the town, this hotel is more comfortable.

Squirrels were seen on the big tree by the swimming pool! The staff were very nice, the kindest people I met in Semporna, and the food cooked by the boss was also good! The room was quite big, the air conditioning was good enough, I played in the swimming pool for two days, and there were cats! When the cat pampers you, it will come over and rub your legs. It is a long-haired Maine Coon mixed with orange cats, beautiful!

There is a garden in front of the door, which is very beautiful and has a swimming pool. The room itself has a kitchen where you can cook instant noodles. You can also use the owner's kitchen to cook. It has a full set of utensils and seasonings. It is especially suitable for parents who bring children and are not used to eating out. We booked a family room and a standard room. The homestay is located in the garden. It is very beautiful and clean. The only drawback is the breakfast. The service is very good. There is free pick-up and drop-off in the town. If you live in Semporna, you can rest assured!
