Nice and comfy place to stay for a short trip in Johor Bahru. The staffs are extremely politely and helpful!

An alright hotel. No fridge room. A little dark inside the room. Towel is a little smelly. Reception is friendly.

The Leverage Hotel has quite a large, welcoming reception area with multiple levels of rooms. Chargeable public parking.

Rooms, dont wana say too much, pictures speak for itself. Towel was stained, pillow dusty. Cabinet broken. Toilet light flicker Room assigned is at level 1. Wall paint looked like they gone through high humidity, started bubbling and peeling Off Green neon light right at the Only window of the room, cannot switch off as it is centrally controlled. Location is at a quiet location and parking is public, no designated parking lots. Worrying for overseas cilents. Service: Nonchalant, the malay front desk staffjust came up to ask only when we complaint to Trip.com and also hotel insisted and unwilling to refund despite we told them we can check-out within 15mins after check-in. We did not touch anything as we were preparing to check-out after seeing the room condition.

I recently stayed at The Leverage Business Hotel in Skudai and found the experience to be a mix of positives and serious concerns. What I liked most was the location — it’s convenient and easily accessible, with food and amenities nearby. The staff at the front desk were courteous, and their service met expectations. However, the condition of the room was disappointing. The toilet bowl seat was unstable and felt like it could dislocate at any moment. There were also signs of rust and general uncleanliness, which gave the impression of poor maintenance. In terms of entertainment, the room only offered basic local TV channels with no additional options, which made it quite dull for guests staying in. The most alarming part of our stay happened on the morning of our departure. Just as we were about to head down to the lobby, we saw people — not in uniform — scan their card and enter our room without knocking. This was extremely concerning, as we had not yet checked out. It felt like a serious security breach. If housekeeping or staff are entering rooms without confirming guest check-out, it puts privacy and safety at risk. Overall, while the hotel has good service and a great location, the poor room condition and serious lapse in security need immediate attention. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve the guest experience moving forward.

Value for money, had a great stay!

Ventilation is poor. Therefore room got mouldy smell. Noise pollution is very severe. I mean sound proof the room is very lacking.

Convenient location and affordable price. Fast respond reception and housekeeping.

Hotel is comfy, bed has two pillows. Everything is good. Recommended.

Great location and price for weekend trips. Simple hotel, wooden floor (non carpeted) is a plus point. Has everything you need for a simple stay but need to request from counter eg. Slippers, ran out of shower gel. Otherwise no complain.

for the sinking bowl water flow is not fast enough. location quite near with the sutera mall and paradigm mall.

The room is lacking basic maintenance. Please see the attached photos. When I shower, the drainage is not working well. The shower area ponded. The room does not have a refrigerator. The prata shop in front of the hotel serves very nice hot food, especially the tandoori chicken, nan and prata.
