Hotels in Tacoma International Airport, Seattle

I enjoyed my stay at Red Roof Inn. The email enquiries were always rapidly replied to. Staff are very nice. The room was vast and clean and had free coffee. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel itself has no restaurants but there are restaurants nearby you can walk to. The Vietnamese restaurant nearby was very good and for breakfast there’s Denny’s. Airport shuttle was very convenient. For the price, it was perfect.

The airport drop-off service was excellent, running every twenty minutes and always on time. The check-in staff were also great; they extended my check-out time by an hour and even gave me delicious cookies. However, the airport pick-up service was terrible. I waited at gate 3A for a full fifty minutes. A car drove right past me without stopping in the middle of it – what was that all about? I was dragging two suitcases and ended up chasing it, which left me with a huge bruise. Furthermore, this hotel is massive with many buildings. The building I stayed in felt like it had very few guests. The room facilities were also quite old (though I appreciated having a microwave in the room). There were all sorts of noises at night, and being alone, I honestly got a bit scared. I ended up sleeping with the lights on.

The room was clean and tidy, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the location was great, very close to the airport.

The hotel is right next to the airport, and the facilities are great. The garden is nice too, and they have a pool and a heated pool. The only downsides were waiting a long time for the shuttle – it was already evening when I arrived, and it was windy and rainy, so waiting outside was quite cold. Also, the room key they gave me didn't work for some reason, and I had to get it replaced twice. However, the front desk did give me a breakfast voucher as compensation. Oh, and the food at the restaurant in the evening was really good!

Big room but old facilities However, there is a 24-hour yellow bus from the hotel to the airport every ten minutes, which is very convenient to catch the flight the next morning.

I had request for a quiet zone room. But I got a room on the 2nd floor by the street which traffic started a lound noise since 4 am in the morning!!! Plus, every neighber rooms seems waking up since 5 am and so on. I only had 3 hours sleep here. Shuttle bus service to/from the SeaTac airport is a plus.

I stayed in several Motel 6 hotels, and this one exceeded my expectations the most. First, it is not far from the city, and there is a big shopping mall within a 5-minute drive. Second, the room is big and the bathroom is clean, which is a bit like a self-operated store instead of a franchised small hotel. Third, the parking lot is big and the front desk is very friendly. If you stay in the summer, you can also swim in the hotel.

The hotel is very close to the passenger terminal, just a dozen minutes' walk away. There is a shuttle bus between the hotel and the airport, which is very convenient. The problem is that it is too close to the airport and the noise is a bit loud, but after days of running around, I was so tired that I could fall asleep peacefully amid the roar of the planes.

The facilities, cleanliness, and environment are all good. It's very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus is almost always available. You can take the shuttle to the airport and then transfer to transit to the city, which is very convenient. We did the same thing on our return. Service: Very worrying! Initially, we were given a key card for a room that was already occupied. This was awkward. When we opened the door, the other person was visibly confused. ❓ They also made duplicate charges (I had already prepaid in full through Ctrip, but they still charged me for the room. I was so impressed with their service that I checked, and there really was something wrong. The front desk staff kept saying the deposit would be refunded, but in reality, they charged me twice: the deposit and the room. It's best to ask for a receipt after checking out). I contacted Ctrip customer service to get the money back. The front desk staff seemed extremely unprofessional. I have no idea what they were doing! The shuttle bus was convenient, but the driver was also very indifferent. Tipping is not expected.

This place is a much older Motel 6 in lovely Bremerton. I chose a smoking room which happened to be on the third floor and walking up those steps covered in the green fake grass that were shaky was not cool. When I got to the room, I walked in and smelled straight cigarettes. The room stopped pretty bad. It took me until the middle of the night to figure out that it was due to the room next-door because there was a door between us. When he finally stopped smoking, the smoke finally went away and when he started again in the morning, it was coming back under the door. I called down and asked to see if I could bemoved and it was not possible. Unless I chose to be in a non-smoking room. But I didn’t realize the smoking would be 24 hours. Plus, the broom was pretty battered, but the bedding was good and so were the pillows. I can’t stand that Motel 6 only gives you soap now. Prices went up 30% and then they’re dropping shampoo and conditioner.
